    As a side sleeper I would really prefer the Helix Luxe Sunset for softness and pressure relief.

    Giveaway: as a side sleeper the Helix Luxe mattress i would choose would be the Helix Luxe Sunset because i like a softer mattress and the pressure relief from the memory foam feel. Loved this video because it really explained a lot about the different Helix mattresses.

    My wife and I have the midnight luxe and we hate it. We get stuck in the middle and always have some kind of joint pain waking up. Which of these beds offer on top feel instead of feeling like we are stuck in quicksand ?

    Very helpful! I was going to go for the luxe line but after your review and comment about body contouring, I'm thinking of going with the regular line. Thanks for the insight (and some $$$ savings!)

    Sunset is nice, but I'd opt for a King Size over a Queen if your a couple. There is too much sinkage in the middle unless you both sleep at the edge. Since Helix only lets you try two beds, we're going to try the MIdnight and if that isn't better we're moving on to a company that doesn't limit you to two returns.

    i'm a side sleeper, 6ft and 205lbs. Have the twilight standard and actually started loving the firm feel...but as someone with broad shoulders, found a little too much pressur ebuild up in the shoulder area. I don't want to give up that supportive feel, but just need more pressure relief. Would you suggest the Twilight Luxe...or Birch?

    I find it funny that all these online review videos rate 90% of mattresses "too soft" for stomach sleepers. I spend part of the night on my stomach and don't mind at all if I sink into the mattress a little bit. There seems to be this false concensus out there that if you're a stomach sleeper you should be sleeping on a slab of cardboard. Very strange to me.
    Also Helix has way too many models. 4 of these 6 models are extremely similar. Realistically they would be fine having 3 distinct models (soft, medium, firm).

    Over priced junk with no edge support. I'll stick with my base midnight model with firm edge support

    I was intrigued by twilight luxe from your description. I am a 120lb curvy side sleeper but need a supportive mattress to fill in the curves and keep my spine aligned. I also need pressure relief for the bony shoulders and ribs. I need good airflow for temperature neutrality. Would you recommend Twilight luxe, midnight luxe or the moonlight luxe?

    Are the luxe upgrades worth the extra cost? In getting a Sunset, but debating if the Luxe is worth more than the standard. If you lay on both, is there a difference and is it noticable? I will pay the extra if it's worth it. I'm a side sleeper and do not want a firm mattress, so its Sunset for me, just debating about the Luxe or standard.

      Hi there, would you mind sharing how soft is the sunset luxe? Does it let you sink in too much or does it offer a good spinal alignment while still offering pressure relief? Is it only for side sleepers or can it accommodate a little bit of back sleeping? How warm does it get? Any inputs appreciated!

    • @Soul_N_Control
      @Soul_N_Control 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Not my Midnight Luxe. It's not near as firm as the standard Midnight. I'm not liking the Luxe as it's not firm enough. Sinks in too much with no edge support and the top does not have enough support compared to the standard helix model which is softer yet bouncier. The Luxe does have that cloud like feel more so than the standard model, but the standard model has firmer springs to keep your spine aligned yet its still soft for contouring. It's way too hot. The Luxe Helix coils are not as firm and the top is too soft with too much sink. It's saggy and hurts my spine bad. I thought it would be the same but with an extra 2" for softness but boy was I wrong.

    • @SuperUtubeian
      @SuperUtubeian 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Soul_N_Control would you mind sharing your sleep style and weight range? I ended up ordering the twilight luxe even though I am 120lb, side sleeper with sensitive muscles and joints based on Madison's review. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

    • @Soul_N_Control
      @Soul_N_Control 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I also have the standard midnight and it was very soft. The luxe midnight sinks in too much yet is firm. Not comfortable at all.
