I just tested this bed today. It is awesomeness. I'm a side sleeper with all kinds of back problems, and it was amazing. I like soft but liked the Sunset and the Moonlight. I think the Moonlight might offer a bit more support and be comfy at the same time. I do wish it were cheaper.
You forgot the one possible issue which is how tall the mattress is. Not sure how many bed sheets choices will be available for this thick mattress either. Getting a lower bed will be required also unless you're very tall. Still, I find it more comfortable and relaxing lying closer to the floor.
Thank you Owen! Your reviews are invaluable! I just ordered the Helix Elite King size mattress and was able to visit their showroom in NYC to try the bed out myself. The Elite is definitely a step up from the Lux which was a comparison choice for myself. The kicker today was a pop up sale which saved 25% off regular price.
@@poutyjen It's now been 7 months that I had this bed and I got to say it is the best bed I have ever slept on! I have never felt more restful and simply look forward to a good night sleep every night! Owen's videos are spot on in describing the mattress and you will not go wrong following his advice. I live in NYC and was lucky enough to go to a showroom in Manhattan that had every mattress imaginable. As a side sleeper, the Helix Elite was a perfect fit but I also sleep on my back sometimes and it is just as comfortable. I actually put the bed together myself but having a buddy would be helpful. I suggest watching some of the videos on how to set the bed up before unboxing it as it is easier to handle the mattress and get it right side up before you take off all the packaging. Sleeping on the mattress from day 1 was a dream and I wholeheartedly believe the investment in a premium mattress like the Helix Elite is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and if anyone is asking about sex, the mattress is very supportive, you will not sink into the mattress and be unable to move as some latex foam mattress would have you.
I have a king size midnight lux. I love it but it's also a bit too soft for me. I feel guilty about wanting to switch it out, but if I'm paying this much and I don't absolutely love it, I think I should change it out while I can. Still love the brand and plan on getting a firmware upgraded one, possibly an elite soon
The Helix midnight elite feels like a Sealy knock off while looking like a knockoff Stearns. It's massively overpriced because while its soft it has zero support. Im 170 and sank like a stone. This bed isnt good for any style sleeper. This should be a $500 queen bed and thats being generous.
i’m so glad i bought this bed it’s heavenly.

I have the Sunset Luxe and I love it. I'd probably love this too. But, that's my luck, they come out with a new one after I buy one. 😂
