You don’t scrape the windows on an electric car - you activate the car heating from the app and it will de-ice itself! Also, AMD makes the chips for Tesla, not Nvidia.
Don’t forget the Model Y, which also has a 7 seat option (a bit tighter than these). That’s sub 50k without the tax credit and nearly identical or better specs than the ex90. Sure if you’ve got 30k extra laying around and you have to have a Volvo, but I can’t see how any of these are going to sell appreciable volume compared to the Y, and down the road what’s the depreciation and repairability of all these one off low volume EVs?
Good Stuff. Looks like Volvo is staying this course of adding more electronic junk and things like air suspension.🤦♂ I miss the days when you could expect a Volvo to be good for 20+ years. I'll be surprised if a single one of these makes it that long without costing twice it's MSRP in repairs.
Of course it'll last. That's what people said about the 2000s Volvos and I have a 2002 now and it'll run many more years if I put the money into it. But it hasn't cost a fortune to maintain and I've had it since 2006. These are robustly built cars and electronic "junk" content is in a lot of products. Just replace the sensors that go out and you'll be fine. Even Lexus has a lot of electronic junk in them.
@@benjaminsmith2287 "just replace the sensors" If only it were that easy. Look into it. Many require special calibrations and alignments and crap that require specialized tools and subscriptions. Plus, the sensors themselves are not cheap. Some makes, that even includes replacing the 12v battery.
I wish her reviews were not all sales pitches.

Nice review
Is “segmentated” in the OED?

No rearview camera?!
Betteridge's law of headlines.

Those third row seats are very usable even for tall people. I think you are being a little uncharitable
