The Multi-Medium is a visually unique 2D puzzle platformer in which you play as an interdimensional explorer in the multiverse. The whole world is watching you embark on a first-of-its-kind expedition to explore parallel universes, but something is going wrong... there is a failure in the technology, and you cannot return home. Lost in the multiverse, you embark on a journey to find your place in every world and in space.

This game is actually more emotional than I first thought... He was trapped within the guilt from not being able to save everyone. This game shows that you can't control everything, and not everything is a hero's job. It's fate's.

it may seem like due to the side scroll but i think he walked passed it, not under it. in a word, the ladder doesn't mean anything.
@@drswag0076nah bro, you can see the protag walk under the ladder- you can also see the the front leg (the one in the background) get overlapped by the protag. meaning he went inbetween the ladder also i think it was genuinely intended to be bad luck lol why else is that there

I like how the world of acrylic gets colder over time, I'm sure it's a reference to acrylic paints becoming harder and more water resistant over time

I don't know if that game is creepy or sad. I guess both ... it's a fun game but it feels like the world gave a great purpose to our protagonist that meant nothing ...
I wish that there was a sequel to resolve the bad ending that the protagonist had endured.

It’s cool how when your in the collage city after the meteor struck the music is based off of the first boss.
it would've been cool if the MC stayed the same no matter what universe they were in to show that they dont belong there
My thought is the same, but then he would be black and white the entire game, and that wouldn’t be visually interesting.
@Brunoki22 but add that strange black and white(and shaded) spaceman into these vibrant landscapes or minimally colored lands it makes it pretty unique to look at to me

I was NOT expecting the reference to another work that is the entirety [Pen&Ink] but it made me so happy
this ending was way better than i expected
Idk if the story is meant to be something really abstract, but the music, dang! They're really well made, especially for the watercolor stage.
