In this video I have a 2015 6.7 Powerstroke with P0087 low fuel rail pressure and metal in the fuel system. Unfortunately this is a common problem as the CP4 pumps are prone to fail and when they do, it sends metal throughout the fuel system. In this truck I am replacing the fuel system and also S&S Diesel CP4 disaster prevention kit. I will walk you through how to install this kit.

This kit is a must for sure. Now if you can sell the DCR pump than that's the best option. It's not approved in California yet. Thanks for watching.
I bought this kit for my 22 f250 when discussing it with my friends 2 of them asked if I would put it on their trucks also. I am starting on the fiend that has the oldest truck a 2017 I have watched several install videos even s&s video and none of them have showed the fuel lines like you have to which is what they just take them all apart and say this goes here that goes there but if you’ve never done it and you don’t know what’s what it doesn’t help Thanks you did a great job explaining

Dude next time you have an issue like that I have a shop in Arizona you can have it shipped to me and then I can ship it to you. My three oldest kids live in Orange County. My son bought a Rolex during covid and it sent to me and then I sent it back to him and he said like $3,000 in taxes

@@NutsandBoltswithTone I get that I worked for Cadillac in California in the 90s and did bar 90 smog pretty well aware of all of that. Now they even have legislation where you can't even have an aftermarket muffler on a car
This morning I am past with doing an HR delete on a 2017 Nissan Titan XD 5.0 Cummings. The cat is from Big Daddy Diesel honestly it looks like junk to me you can tell by the thin stainless steel Chinese welded exhaust stuff
Don’t like how wobbly that filter is attached to the firewall.
It is attached and going to be ok for the truck to be running. That is how it is designed and will save the fuel system if pump fails. Thanks for watching.
Nice informative video! Just got this kit for my 15' F250 after hearing about this CP4 issue. I haven't had any issues with the fuel system (Thank god) in the time i've owned the truck (from 61K to now 227K) and have always had the filters changed at required intervals. What would you say it took you for time to install from beginning to end?
