- Full discloser, I bought one of these kits a while back and did a nasty job with the assembly. Here's my second attempt, aka first try. Brennan's Garage has a grip of cool parts from recovery gear, to winch parts and more. It's good to support guys like this, he's a cruiser guy too along with his beautiful Willys.

When you said “I usually rush things” I was waiting for your wife to comment 😂 Awesome job, and very cool Jack!
Some times the east ones slip through our fingers!
This is the best #TaulerJack video so far!
My man! Appreciate the product, keep innovating.
I like the idea of the jack and will build one. Great video.
It’s a solid option man, and he’s always brining in new ideas for it.
As of the 2022 Australian census approximately 56,000 people die a year from high lift jacks. That sounds bad but the usefulness of the jack still definitely outweighs the fatalities and life altering injuries.
I love your new sketchy jack and have no doubt it will probably pin you under the car and cause you a slow and painful death at some point.
I will be ordering that kit tomorrow so I can also feel the adrenaline rush of having a dodgy weld fail and either end up killing me or busting up my face and end up looking like a poor man's version of Golem.
I love ya work and your channel Ben. Your a legend! Best subscription I have on my TH-cam list!
Man I laughed out loud reading this comment. And I’ve read it more than once. I’ve got to say it’s one of my favorites on this channel. Thank you man, for coming along.
The good news is that by welding those inside seams, you've created an excuse to go buy a nice Die Grinder so you can reach in there and grind away the beads. According to Girl Math Logic, you're actually getting the die grinder for free since you already paid for the jack kit and can't use it without getting rid of those inside beads.
I can’t argue with that logic. It just makes financial sense!
@@projectwrongway9127 Gotta love logic. You'd actually be wasting money if you don't go buy a die grinder.
Two. I should buy two, in case I need to use it more than once.
@@projectwrongway9127 Sounds reasonable to me. And just think about how much time you'll save if you don't have to constantly stop to switch out the burrs while you're trying to get the job done.
Love it.
I'll buy that Highlift from you for my son's FJ
Going to try and figure out a way to give it away. I’ll post it up once I think about how to do it.
The first direction should be read the directions! Entertaining video as always.
I’ve always struggled with the order of things, I blame my dyslexia.
You are killing me welding with plastic gloves....leather is your friend !
But I need the finger dexterity!
Are those Safety Crocs?
Are there any other kind?
What's funny is I'm making comments and you are listening...lol
See! I’m improving!
Stay out of the gash! 🤣
Only when approved!
My wife makes fun of me for not being able to read a ruler. It's not my fault that the time we were learning to use rulers in school, the US was transitioning to metric....only to be twarted by the nay sayers. GD barbaric imperial system!
I just read the lines. Literally, big lines and small ones.
Heretic! May the Imperial System rule forever!!
Looks like a cool concept but I’d be more interested in a finished jack rather than a kit
A local shop could do it up pretty easy. I’m happy to practice welding some more 😉
