Even flying fixed wing I sometimes go out to the airport and just fly around the pattern, taking off and landing over and over again. It's good practice. Do it often.
+is hady Thanks buddy, I do have a tendency to lean into the break on whichever side I feel like I am falling which is not good, but other than that I think I was getting pretty good at modulating height and touch and goes. That is until I tried it in no wind, that was a whole different ball game!
how do you like the blackhawk products? which model paramotor do you have it looks like the 125. would you recommend it ? im thinking about buying it for my first
I sold all mine but I had a 125 then a 220. Depends on your weight but I would go lighter if you can. what I've learned is that all these Paramotors are pretty damn similar in the end and really it is the wing that makes the difference (just stay away from the Flattop). So go where you can get the best deal pretty much (as long as it's a reputable brand and not too old).
I agree. The Flat Top has a lot of good things about it is folks can just look at the product itself and not the people behind them. I'm saying this for all of the brands. This hobby has a lot more bickering going on than even the "Ford vs Chevy" guy stuff can muster.

nice practice. The wind is a lot closer to 15-20mph though. Based on the windsock and your landing speed it is much higher than stated.
