nice video brother. That launch reminded me exactly of one of my launches, fresh out of training. Probably around flight #35 or so. I oscillated left/right, much like you did, but I wasn't so luckly. I slammed hard into the ground while on full throttle, during my swing back down to the right. Luckily I was ok, other than a few bumps and bruises. But I broke my prop, and a cage panel. Since then, my piloting skills have improved tremendously, and no crashes since then. Here is some advise for you or anyone else watching this video.1. ONLY commit to launch when the wing is stable overhead. If it is swinging left or right or front/back, either kite the wing a bit longer until you have it stable, or abort launch and start over.2. Keep a bit of break pressure on both breaks while launching. Once the wing is overhead, You should feel an even amount of tension on both breaks while moving forward, if one side is too loose, slightly change your running direction towards the side that is loose, while pumping the opposite break as required. Once you got the wing stable overhead, you can commit to take off. But never commit to takeoff while the wing is oscillating or in a bank. I learned that the hard way!Cheers brother, and safe flyin!

+biggy5567 Cool man and thanks for the advice. Good things to think about there. I have a habit of swinging my arms which I think exacerbates the oscillations. Practice practice practice! I am pretty good at kiting but I think I need to devote a bit more time to it anyway, and get used to turbulence!

Sweet vid and real cool music. I watched a couple of earlier vids where you were Kiting a Wing. I wanted to make sure that I had my BlackHawk Kiting Harness on correctly. I adjusted it a little thanks to watching a couple of old videos of you Kiting your Wing. You’ve come a long way since a few years ago. You are looking like a seasoned pro now! You’re an inspiration to me. Keep up the awesome vids and cool music. Be safe and blue Skies!

Hey thanks very much mate! :) I haven't been flying Paramotor much these days as it is hard to travel with, but I get my flying fix from paragliding still and am looking forward to getting an engine on my back again! Happy flying bro!

A close one to say the least. Great video.
Gotta get another launch in so she can see you do it proper.

Mark Morrison Ha! hopefully the next one makes me look or more competent, or if it doesn't I'll pretend I did it on purpose next time :)

ppgscout Launches are optional, landings are not, so I guess I should be glad my landings are smooth :)

I think he was listening when your girlfriend called for help!
Did your helmet camera not get a good shot at the beginning?

DavidisDawei It did, but it just didn't fit into the video properly, I preferred the other cameras perspective personally.

Tyrhone Tubbs You took off like a rocket. I'm sure that had your adrenalin pumping.
I understand what you mean; it takes a lot of time to edit a video and then sometimes you need to click delete, delete, delete
      cheers
