Except if you actually try them on. I was very disappointed by the John Doe with regards to their boring wash, not quite as good cut and their protectors. The Rokker just look amazing, feel so robust and the D3o are way better protectors. I was really hoping the John Doe would be better, as they sound great on paper.

You get a solid black with the rokker black jack slim. It has also much more deneema and less cotton.
