This almost brings me to tears. After having watched literally hundreds of coaching and relationship videos, I only found out two days ago that how she acted is due to her type of attachment style, and that all this is typical for this style: the DA type. I could never understand so many things that suddenly happened, and now I understand everything. Your words describe my Ex to 100%...even the letter I wrote to her in a period of three weeks of almost silence, with just a short and very delayed response.

This all sounds good, except in my case; my avoidant has already gone out of her way to make it impossible for she and I to cross paths in any form.
So please tell me how I may deal with that difficulty..... ? ??
And the reason I believe she did that, is because she is stubbornly convinced that I am not what she's looking for romantically. Sadly partly that impression is my fault ...but she will not listen to me, so that I can show her how she is mistaken.

Not 100% sure if she an avoidant but definitely shows signs. I sent her clean slate letter, acknowledging that I agree with her that I acted unemotional, said I was working on myself, said I was proud of her with what she has achieved. I have no response what so ever. Not sure what can do next

I'm anxious he's avoiditent. 16 yrs 10 of those on and off. 3 kids later and now he's totally avoiding me. I'm hurt. Can we fix this or is it done for? There was no real break up either...
