Some minor corrections: 1. Armament haki is not visible to common people, the black coating and colors we see are a visualization of it. Users of haki are likely able to sense when someone is using it and where, but average people would just see gear 4 Luffy skin colored. This makes sense, right? If Doflamingo could see just how much haki Luffy was using, I don't think he would be laughing so hard about his "powerup" 2. Kaido's "Ragnaraku" uses advanced conqueror's haki in addition to hardening, the lightning is a visual representation of this but again, not visible to common people, it may be visible to advanced haki users
Armament Haki is not visible when you don't use it at it's fullest. Kōka (hardening) is visible, since we have many characters referred as to having black body parts (Sanji being the only one who got that tittle without Haki). So, yeah, Kōka is visible.

its a concept derived from real life concepts, if you do some digging youll find alot about prana, ki/qi, siddis, reiki and a bunch more which some of them do correlate well with the one piece power system. regardless its a verry interesting subject separate from one piece and many still practice to this day

I think there is another kind of haki that lets people push their body past its natural limits. Through sheer will power Portgas D Rouge kept Ace in her womb for 20 months (over twice the normal term). Denjiro Warped his face perminantly through sheer will power and unfathomable rage and Whitebeard was able to push on fighting through many fatal injuries (Although that one could be just that he is a beast). This branch would probably fall under Armourment Haki but more like and internal body control type.

Luffy had trained his armament flow but only just learned advanced conqueror’s coating. Kaido said that Luffy’s application of conqueror’s was extremely crude which is to be expected cause it was his first time using it. To use that new difficult type of haki on top of flow I think is too much

Marines do teach it, all Vice-Admirals and above know Haki. The Kuja, just like the Shandians, are somehow special in that their people learn Haki easier/subconsciously. And I believe we've only seen the Kuja imbue their arrows, not coat their bodies, so they have limited capabilities.

I have some confusion regarding Conquerors Haki: -we see kid Ace use it in a moment of crisis but adult Ace never does (I assume its because he accepts whitebeard as king) -pre time skip luffy could use conquerors in moments of crisis but learnt how to actively use it after training -zoro's case is what confuses me... He places luffy's ambition above his own (he bowed to Mihawk) but we see his desire to fight Kaido (the strongest) unlock his conquerors haki Above points make me think that conquerors haki can be unlocked if one aims big enough, even if they dont have it by birth
It is likely that he was feeling overshadowed throughout his life, by mihawk before the timeskip, it is likely that he only felt threatened enough and had his ambitions in his mind enough during the wano arc, so he unlocked it then.
There's probably some logic in that but at this point does it really matter? If we go by that logic, we've been given incredible and iconic moments by purely basing off "wouldn't it be funny if xyz could do that?". I dont see a reason as to why the formula should change *if* that were the case. Not everything has to have a reason to make sense, just have fun with the absurdity of the moment 😁😁

I think observation cancelation is also an advanced form of observation haki.
Shanks has a couple other types of conquerors haki e.g ‘WiFi’ haki which renders other people’s conquerors haki useless in all its forms

Marines do teach it, all Vice-Admirals and above know Haki. The Kuja, just like the Shandians, are somehow special in that their people learn Haki easier/subconsciously. And I believe we've only seen the Kuja imbue their arrows, not coat their bodies, so they have limited capabilities.

This is definitely a thing and not just “anime choosing to make it visible for us” and there are a few instances to back this claim:
- Sentomaru said in Return to Sabaody “their Haki got stronger” and post timeskip armament is always shown with the black coating
- we learned from the story that Haki has ALWAYS existed so in hindsight, in-universe, pre timeskip Haki has always also always been a thing, the invisible armor on the Kuja arrows, people hitting logias, etc
- the Tobiroppo’s Vivre card states they all know armament and observation and yet we haven’t seen them use and they are in the NEW WORLD? Obviously they’re using invisible armor, that’s how Franky beat Sasaki, with invisible armament of his own

You should have mentioned the many instances pre timeskip of of obvious Haki usage in hindsight even if it’s not confirmed, since we learned Haki has ALWAYS EXISTED, it’s obvious it WAS all Haki:
- Luffy hitting Mr 3 wax clone, using subconsciously
- Zoro defeating Mr 1
- Aokiji using observation to avoid Whitebeard’s Haki stab, exactly like how Katakuri uses observation to dodge with his mochi
- CP9’s Rokushiki martial art has techniques that use Haki (I bought their Vivre cards here in Japan, they’re all stated to have armament and observation)
Tekkai: obviously armament in the torso
Shigan: obviously armament in the finger
Kami-e: obviously observation
Rokuogan: obviously emission
Geppo: the same way armament is used to touch elements in logia users, they use armament in their feet to touch the air

I have some confusion regarding Conquerors Haki:
-we see kid Ace use it in a moment of crisis but adult Ace never does (I assume its because he accepts whitebeard as king)
-pre time skip luffy could use conquerors in moments of crisis but learnt how to actively use it after training
-zoro's case is what confuses me... He places luffy's ambition above his own (he bowed to Mihawk) but we see his desire to fight Kaido (the strongest) unlock his conquerors haki
Above points make me think that conquerors haki can be unlocked if one aims big enough, even if they dont have it by birth
It is likely that he was feeling overshadowed throughout his life, by mihawk before the timeskip, it is likely that he only felt threatened enough and had his ambitions in his mind enough during the wano arc, so he unlocked it then.

There's probably some logic in that but at this point does it really matter? If we go by that logic, we've been given incredible and iconic moments by purely basing off "wouldn't it be funny if xyz could do that?". I dont see a reason as to why the formula should change *if* that were the case.
Not everything has to have a reason to make sense, just have fun with the absurdity of the moment 😁😁
