Home made airplane tug

Always have been a bit of an improviser and do it your selfer, so this is what I came up with when I took a snow blower, and a starter motor off a riding lawn mower, plus a few other bits and pieces. It's a bit more finished than the first video I put up of it. Sure is easier to pull the plane into the hangar especially when it's on skis.

That's a gorgeous KF Jim. You did a marvelous job rebuilding it. The must make a world of difference given the lack of traction for pushing/pulling winter time conditions.

I need one of these. Been keeping an eye out for an appropriate mechanical device to adapt.

I used an old snowblower and an electric starter motor. I used it two days ago. When the plane is on skis, and with my slippery floor, I would have a tough time getting in and out of the hangar just doing it by hand.
