- I built this tug to move my J5 Cub and my Bellanca Cruisair. Seems to work very good. Was fun to build! The motors have been upgraded to 350 watt 24v. I've adjusted some parameters in the radio receiver to cut the power a bit and to ease the start and stop. Be sure to check out the tug details including specific receiver configuration settings. • Remote Control Aircraf...

Good job!
I Love your work!!!!
Great Balance and mobility! Very Fast!
Thanks!!!!
You should start a company and call it Pretty Good Tugs
Very well done! I would like to see a video of how you set up the Cytron Motor Driver and receiver. I have ordered those but the wiring and setup look a bit daunting. I am building a tug using a mobility chair. Wired it works pretty good but needs to go wireless. Thanks for any help.
Here is a video with details and the receiver settings as displayed on my cell phone app.

The driver controls the steering by changing direction the motors run. The driver does not need any changes out of the box if you are using a pcm radio receiver
Great idea, I have ordered the parts to make one for my Tripacer here Downunder.
I have 7ac and I am 77 years old. it isn't easy to get my plane out and into the hangar. Where can I get the plans and parts list?

What is the black box converter for, and hav is it conected.?
Brilliant !
What motors are you using, and what circuit board is that?
I have been wanting to build a tug for a friend of mine to move his j-3.
The original motors are 12v 6amp and about 50 RPM. They have plenty of power but the tug is slow. I bumped the voltage to 24 volt which made a big difference bit it is still slow. I just upgraded to 350 watt 24volt motors but have not had a chance to install them yet. I think they will be much better. The controller is a PN00218-CYT14 Cytron Motor Driver 30Amp 7V-35V. I will post back here if the 350waatt motor are a big difference.
I posted another video on the details. th-cam.com/video/JD_cFsObH3E/w-d-xo.html
A better mouse trap!👍👍
what did you make the turntable out of ...bearing wise
The parts list for everything is here : th-cam.com/video/JD_cFsObH3E/w-d-xo.html
I am in a club that owns four planes, and we are considering building four tugs. Our 172, Archer, and Cirrus have nosewheel fairings. Do you think that the fairings would get scratched on the turntable?
You changed from 250-Watt motors to 350-Watt motors. How do you feel about the change?
Do you have any drawings available?
You would need to make sure the width of the tug would work with wheel pants. I'm sure the design could be modified to work. The 350 watt motor are much better and what I should have started with.
I could really use some details for thos

And a bonanza
No Bonanza here :) The red/white plane is a Bellanca Cruisair.
@@N3661a I’m talking about making it fit a bonanza so I could buy one
