This video is a continuation of our trade up challenge! First, we drove around aimlessly until we found a 2006 Charger R/T, and in the last video we transformed it and listed it on Marketplace. In this video, we finally trade it for a wildly dangerous '65 Mustang and embark on a late night highway road trip that turns into a hilarious adventure.

man, i like the 8ball vibe but youve never really "dolled up" a mustang like this. so i think itd be cool to doll it up a little bit, keeping the 8ball name paint it accordingly, have fun with it for a little while and trade it up afterwards. (or keep it idk)

I was saying the exact same thing when I watched, they will never forget. I remember years ago I was 21 and took my 71 mustang (was beater at time) with 4 friends to an all day metal festival from Philly to north jersey. What an experience I will never forget. Luckily didn't break down haha. Stay well ✌️
Keep it! Put Granada disks up front and do a dirty low buck refresh on the motor. Try your hand at porting heads. Tighten the front suspension/steering. Keep the ratty vibe- just make it reliable with doors that latch and windows that go up and down. The wheels are killer and it sounds great!

8.8 swap, t5 swap, front end rebuild. But do it on a $2000.00 budget. Makes for great content and it’s currently my plans and budget on my 66 so that would be helpful

8-ball is great, as are all projects. A step by step on how to fix the major issues, a bit of paint, and an interior can give you a jump in trade value. Not that you need to trade, because that Mustang looks like it’s a fun.

Very good trade! When my baby brother retires from the Army in November were going to start our own Channel, Were going to do mostly if not all mid-late 70's (73-79) Muscle cars. Those are the cars I grew up and we have been watching the cars and coffee/ Cruise-in scene and the mid-late 70's have become THE most popular new builds since the Covid lockdowns.

Neat find, me and my Father are getting a 65 Coupe restored to what he had driven back in 91 with plans to get a 351W put in it again in the future and a few other goodies that he wanted back then, I would say keep 8-Ball it has more soul and enjoyment with even short trips with how it rides what it sounds like even down to how it is driven is an experience.
I love that 1979 pace car edition Mustang fender hanging on the wall while you were filling the rad man!!

The worth of a car to a man is not just based on its monetary value, youve obviously fallen in love you know you're keeping it! I would do upgrades that increase its fun, safety and reliability all at once like brakes, suspension, wheels, EFI kit, electronic ignition, radiator, clutch and fix whatever the heck is going on with the shifter and then enjoy the hell out of it for long time but she deserves to be brought back to her glory some day!
i say you should keep 8-ball and start a new trade up at a later date. that car is awesome.

The end result of the trade challenge was to be happy, right? Well, it seems as though you've won because you're stoked to have that car man, and it clearly shows. Don't trade it since it makes you so happy, you can always start the challenge over. I say enjoy it for a while since it really fits you and your collection!
