With Tommy Fleetwood hitting the stand on the previous 18th hole playoffs about 15 minutes ago I believed that he should have been penalised for that shot but if he would have we would have never see that incredible shot by our Canadian. Great week-end of golf.

Weird how thieves in Canada are allowed to just walk out of a store with thousands of dollars of merchandise but they tackle a guy for trying to get to his friend after a golf putt
I know it’s their job, but I really think it’s in poor taste when reporters, especially ones who already have exclusive rights to the post game/round/match interview, don’t even give the player two minutes to catch their breath and hug their family. It always makes me cringe when they refuse to even give them a few inches. She was so close to him, I thought she was his wife, when I first saw the video.
It's loud out there. You have to be close so you can hear each other. The reporter also doesn't have much time because he has to go bring in his scorecard.

I remember after the Patriots beat the Falcons the reporter was actually chasing Tom Brady, and wouldn’t let him get to his family, so he actually had to have his friend get in between them, and has to nicely ask the reporter to allow him to hug his wife and kids. I appreciate how hard their job is. But sometimes it feels like they have no ability to realize their twenty second interview isn’t the end all be all.
@@MikeySkywalker The reporter has a very short window to do her job. The same job someone does at the end of every big sporting event. You accept that as an athlete. Dealing with the media is part of an athlete's life. You have all night to celebrate. You actually have the rest of your life to celebrate if you want. The reporters aren't blessed with that time frame. The athletes understand because that's just the way it works.

I took issue with a very specific type of approach, that I see certain reporters using and others not using. I’ve been very clear that I understand their job is difficult and they have to do what they have to do. So, you’re comment doesn’t really apply to what I said. But, it’s really a small thing, and this is where I’ll leave it. Have good day.
