After seeing sean strickland spar she spars light 😂
the one where he does nothing for 3 mins then throws for 30 secs??
@@gav5389 nah watch all of sean's sparring vids. He holds a bad reputation when it comes to sparring😂😂
you never seen him spar somebody his size then
The difference is HIM and HER.
Like night and day.
Do you even know who Sean Strickland is?
I think the criticism stems from Yakkao posting clips titled "Duangdawnoi DESTROYS 215lbs man", in which the clips often show an amateur tagging her with something light, then her answering with a snappy combo, which appears at a higher intensity than the amateur sparring partner, making it look like she's upping the intensity because her ego got hurt when she got tagged by an amateur.
Like you said, short form content doesn't show that her style is simply that explosive and that her return combos weren't an escalation of intensity. Like she says, with shin pads, often softer kicks with less weight put behind it still yields loud sounds, which looks worse when her form is simply that explosive and snappy.
Edit: What I'm tryna say is that based on this video and Tino's account, despite how it may appear in shorts, it looks like she's still taking care of people that spar with her and not trying to hurt them out of spite.
That's exactly right. She overdoes it every combo. She has to be more aggressive simply because of the whole "man vs woman" situation whereby she feels the need to match the energy of the preemptively stronger man. She'll snap kick but it won't really hit like she thinks it does.
I understand your point, but I also believe there's a difference between power and intensity. If she goes excessively fast compared to the other's pace she should slow some
She's just quicker than her opponent, essentially. But casuals misperceive it as her putting more power. Sad
^ There he is
The white knight
@gambeer134 Bro, shut up. The only real difference between speed and power is your ability to follow through with the kick (to a point beyond your opponent). Its pretty hard to tell the difference visually when your foot stops the moment it makes contact. Also, who actually says 'casuals?' Are you 9???
That sparring looks super skillfull& playful, super fun💪🏼💯
her "hard" sparring is probably light for her..yes shes intense but it always seemed controlled at least from my perspective
Thank you dear Tino for this wonderful video, which we are happy to share to introduce you. Thank you for supporting Volunt2Thai as a trainer for Muey Thai and for sharing your time and skills with the children in our care.
Amazing video, thanks! Enjoyed learning more about this awesome girl that I see in Saenchai seminar videos.
Her combination are deadly. What a mix of beauty and toughness.
She has the skills of a real Muay Thai fighter and the looks of a celebrity. She should become a movie star and make lots of action movies.
Let her spar with Mike Tyson. See how hard he spars.
@@taoist32 Just write a note on a piece of paper, attatch it to a pigeon, and Mike Tyson Mysteries will be on it!
He means she's faking a Muay Thai fighter!
@@MisterRimmer-pz2ge I think OP meant she could be a legit movie star whom happens to be an actual fighter if she wanted.
@@Manesson People here seem slow.
NOOO WAY YOU PUT MY COMMENT ON YOUR VIDEO 😂🤣 i feel honored
Those hate comments came from nerds without real muay thai experience. Let them hate.
Hate never comes from above
Tough girl, lovely smile
Whats funny is that good Muay Thai fighters do spar really hard but not to harm. I mean just watch Saenchai and Buakaw going at each other, somtimes they kick HARD really HARD but they know other gonna block or parry easily, it's almost an art itself. That why i love watching Muay Thai even tho i dont practice muay thai, i feel like i'm watching art, not fight.
tbh most times that i seen those two sparr they would just clown around xD
well, it IS a traditional martial art, despite whites tending to practice it as a sport. Monks do Muay Thai, for the same reason monks at the Shaolin Temple do Kung Fu. There's intellect and spirituality to it, if you're doing it right. You're supposed to do a spiritual ceremony before sparring, for example. And done properly, there is meditation etc. 🙂
Actually, Thai sparring is a word for light to very light sparring. I don't think there is actual footage how they sparr. Sadly, even the lightest sparring is very bad for your brain and CTE is the worst ailment imaginable.
@@patmanpatmanson
"Sadly, even the lightest sparring is very bad for your brain and CTE is the worst ailment imaginable."
Yeha, that's one of many reasons why we go light in sparring in real martial arts. (though many white people practice it as a sport, MT is actually a traditional martial art, with intellect and spirituality.)
And for those who think that doesn't train you to fight on the street, I'm here to tell you that I learned ITF TKD with only light contact sparring, and all the times I have needed it in real self defense scenarios, which has happened several times now, it's been there for me!
But yeah I agree, traditionally it's very light contact when you're sparring. Full speed, but light contact. 🙂
What people who doesn't fight behind the screen doesn't understand is that the one with no sound is the one that hurts the most because the muscle and bones absorbs the impact, not the surface area. Clapping your hands for example, loud, doesn't hurt.
Here, make your forearms into an X shape, and hit the 2 wrist bones together as hard as you do when clapping your hands.
Yeah.
Yeah. Thats not true...
@@renanunit absolutely is true, thumping kicks hurt more than slapping ones
thanks
Cool channel man, you're gonna make it!
+1
Duang is imo the ideal type of female sparring partner in terms of intensity and technique, not to mention she seems beautiful inside and out.
As for you Tino, your energy is contagious and that makes your video even more pleasing to follow while learning.👌🏽💯
The best sport, and she is such a great ambassador for it.
I think Duangdawnoi is great and girls and boys who are lucky enough to spar with her learn from her. It is her sport and her life. Most of the karate and other semi-contact experts who call her out forget what the cushiony wushiony thingy wingies on her leggy weggies are for ✌🏽✌🏾✌🏼
Ok
A brisk spar with a skilled fighter is one of the greatest joys in life. It becomes a real dance, and you can see in their faces that they feel the same. She's a great ambassador for MT.
She will be better than stamp, can see the passion in her eye to win 💪🏻
I think the exhale is such an important and fundamental thing I think many new starters overlook. For ages I would do "aishh" as I felt like I pushed out from stomach but recently have tried to do a more inhale and then "shohh", it feels less tiring.
i say "keeeeee-ahhhhh"
She is a warrior😍 Sawadikap🙏🏻
Love Noi. She is the best. Those that think she spars too hard do not understanding Muay Thai.
Remember the old saying that goes something like "Train light, fight light. Train hard, fight hard" or, train like you want to play on the field. Very common in American football and, I am sure, other sports. You only train light when warming up with no contact drills. I think she went easy on him though there were some solids hits. Well done.
What a girl. Brilliant.❤
She is the incarnation of cutness with the soul of a sicaria. Perfect woman
Why would you want a women with the soul of a hired murderer?

🤦☝️
Awesome girl. And the gym is really cool.
Yeah i trained with a lot of pros and amateurs and they hit like 50 percent it makes you tough and makes you go serious
I swear started muy Thai and did kickboxing not too long ago and it was rough and their leg were heavy asf when they hit. I said to myself that damn it was rough but if i can easily tank that with training, other regular people won’t feel a treat at all.
in the short reels around 1:25, looking closely, she actually barely touch these girls. But she's so fast and she has such control of the distance it looks she goes full force! That is soooo beautiful!!!
They always : “that’s just how I spar bro” - until an actual mini boss comes along and has had enough of your shit.
Great content. And, I’m a fan of her. What many people don’t understand is she’s most often holding back on strikes, as you clearly were. Also, it’s not easy to have to constantly hype yourself up for a sparring match and be humble at the same time. There is a certain mindset you need to be in and it isn’t easily compatible with being humble, as you’re trying to dominate your opponent. I like her. She’s not a bully or goon.
she is a goon
She's beautiful 😍.
She's hot but that's not the point.
@@hirakaiko5570 I'd like to show her some single and double leg take downs. A bit of ground submissions.
Ye she's tough i would be extra cautious sparring against her im only blue band in muy thai so ye i wouldn't imagine her gentle when she starts striking 💀
love what you do man! 🙏
Thank you so much for that nice comment. 🙌🙏🏽🙏🏽
A video I have been waiting for, I always wondered, does she really go too hard all the time?
I also wondered, what does she say during her strikes? o nvm you tackled even THAT! LOL gg
Thanks for bringing up the "UUUUUWEII!!" xD
Looks normal to me. I don't see any sharp strikes from her that would cause any actual physical damage, even though you're much bigger and heavier than her. Guessing she's normally sparring with people heavier than her in her normal routine.
She looks like Thai actress Prang Kannarun
She really does.
Hi Tino, I'm trying to get testimonials for my video editing service, was wondering if I can edit your next video for free
She’s great!
You have to spar hard. There are some days where you're going 10% or 50%. But you need to spar hard. If you don't, you're in for a rude awakening. And the brotherhood and sisterhood that you develop with your team mates is like no other ❤ I love fighting.
Wanna spar against me Melanie? I'm about 5'3/5'4 so if you're taller it works to your advantage.
She is amazing. Her game is on point.
in itf taekwondo we said kiup, pronounced "kee-uh" or "kee-yah". Or some of us did the "ish" thing. Same as Bruce Lee going "eee-yeeahhhh" 🙂 I feel like it actually does help, as long as you don't go overboard. You don't want to get to the point that you're expending more energy just for the sake of yelling. But it helps with rhythm and focus. 🙂
Duangdawnoi you're the best girl nak muay far away 🙏🔥❤️
I think the Thai people are often so wonderful and generous, but Duangdawnoi definitely looks serious when she's sparring in the Yokkao videos. Her personality doesn't come through the same way that Saenchai's does, but that's also an unfair comparison since nobody seems to have as much fun as Saenchai does.
Damn she is pretty
She is!
She throws her techniques at almost full speed, just pulls the intensity back from what her real fight power would be. Shes not going easy but shes not going too hard. I would much rather spar against this than an amateur flailing around completely unpredictably, you end up getting hurt accidentally when people dont know what theyre doing. Nothing wrong imo
He can't get away with this!! 😂🎉
You can spar hard if you use control on your punches and kicks. That simply means pulling the power at the end. The faster the strikes, to most people it looks aggressive and hard.
the most beautifull warrior ever seen
She's awesome. I'm half expecting at some point he'll give her "kiss me eyes" and she'll go in for it. That's at reference from the movie 22 Jump Street, the girl fight between Johan Hill & Jillian Bell's characters.
This looks like the ideal date !
your taking it very easy on her
If I was a muay thai fighter, I'd shout "TIGER KNEE!" with every kick
This video isn't using stereo sound on my phone in a way that I've never noticed before...
Is this something you intentionally did? It's pretty cool hearing you both from opposite sides
This just looks like fun
Awesome
NICE brother :)
in muy thai we make some noice to less street, let out street and breath, and we practice in this way naturally since we were young, if you keep quite might make some street to your deep heart and street mess up your technique and your millisecond to attack
I like her style
Really hard to not fall in love with a passionate woman like her.
This is literally a win win scenario.
What a beauty
People Say that because the opponent is not going hard and she does. Thats the problem. Trainer have said a light sparred help, but if its hsrd then both should going hard not just one .
She’s fast.🥊🇳🇱
you shoudl see her box 😁❤❤❤❤
Like the controversial seal training that was condemned by a university professor. Anyway, nice knowing her and appreciate the vlog, bro
Knowing navy seals it was probably fucking stupid and not like this at all.
Sparring hard is a relative term.
Very nice
Yokkao gloves seem to have very good communication campaigns and partnerships but lower quality than other thaï brands. What is your opinion about that?
Boon, Windy better options.
I use Yokkao 16 oz for sparring. Best quality in my opinion
Rdx make great gloves but idk what they are like as a company.
God she’s sooo gorgeous. Super cute. ❤
Great video
Thank you, appreciate it. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
@@TinoBrunner1do u also compete?
People who make negative comments act like they know what they’re doing but don’t 😂. She’s awesome! Very inspiring! Thank you for this video!
When someone writes that she pairs hard, there is nothing negative about it. Just stating a fact, or their point of view. And the person who interprets it negatively is an idiot who has a fragile ego instead of laughing about it and thinking critically
Because people who post positive stuff surely do know. I’ve seen her and she spars way too hard, especially during seminars. Compare it to her male counterparts and tell me again how those “negative” comments don’t know what they’re talking about
look like a lot of fun you guys and she is Amezing and so beautiful 😍❤️
Thank you so much na. She is incredible 🙌🙌👍 Super nice individual and so much fun to train and learn from her. 🔥

you two will make a great couple 😊
Rodtang does not approve
she's a mean fighter
she's also hella cute
I'll stop simping now.
You can compliment a girl with his beauty and for his skills in boxing. That's not being a simp
Saying too much "simp" is clearly annoying. Because in my opinion, that's a non sense. You can make compliments, it's okay, it's good

did I see right that they spar without mouthpiece ?
My ❤CRUSH omg now she can speak english Im coming to Thailand Baby
Any reason why whole of Saenchai team cheers for Superlek while Rodtang also share similar relationship with Saenchai also ?
They all are friends Bro.
It's a Thai Muaythai community they all do not seriously think a lot like that in my opinion. And Rodtang only a smaller brother in the group.
For Saenchai all of them Thai have Saenchai as an Idol my friend it's a culture.
👍🏾
it must be the 'Mike Tyson' energy shes giving when she spars that makes it look hard.
Sparring hard is one thing, but when it isn't mutual, it looks bad on her. She often is sparring with people that look to be beginners or people that are trying to go light, and she decides to start going wild on them. It's rude and disrespectful. Too many people simping for this girl that aren't willing call out disrespectful behavior. You aren't fighting for a title, you are at a seminar with people who want to learn, meet you, and have fun. Remove your ego and stop making excuses like "Oh you think that is hard? You should see how I fight with my sister".
sparring hard with your sibling - different take on family love..... Klitschko's brothers never fought each other and never properly spared properly with each other because they knew it would upset their mother and they would never want to hurt each other. Yes, 100% she needs to chill out a little and learn more about control. This video shows she can do it, nice controlled sparring.
That’s hard? Nah, light sparring 😂🎉
I always spare very light I think I go 1 or 5% with good technique
💪♥️
Some people live heaven on earth but how will it be in eternity
Well its different, she's hitting ppl who just train for fun hard while she train with better fighters.
Her being nice doesn't mean she doesn't go hard.
Thats why it was nice when ufc fighter stood her ground and fought fire with fire.
she's beautiful
😎👍👍
She's intense because she's very lightweight and spars with bigger girls.
She is incredibly fast and has much more experience than most of the girls she spars.
She's intense because she lacks self control and wants to seem better than she is at the expense of others.
@@necromancer6405tf you talking bout? 😂
@@necromancer6405fighters spar to improve! If she goes in and tries to spar on the level of her opponents then, they aren’t going to learn anything nor improve. Has she hurt any of her sparring partners? Even if she has, it happens!
@@andreaskaphengst8121 People go in without their full strength for a reason. If you're using your full strength you are a liability, not a help.
Nice kosoto at 2:06
She is very pretty. It would be hard for me to focus during sparing with her.
She's pretty and amazing at her skill but she does spar hard especially when she gets caught with something, even in this video you see the guy land a pulled back kick to her face and she catches it and continues to punch rather than acknowledging the kick and starting another sequence
Shes beautiful 🤗🙏🤘👍
I love how she can totally destroy you while smiling like that!
Seemed kind of awkward, since you opened it up with "I hope you don't spar too hard with me" so then she held back basically like 80% and only went like 20-30% max. And since you were fighting a smaller female, obviously you have to be the one to hold back even more and can't lose your temper. With those conditions, the spar was probably too slow and too light if I'm being honest. I know there is gains to be made by slow sparring also, but I think you guys are at a level where you could have gone faster and a little bit harder.
🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪👊👊👊
