    Just the sought of review I was looking for. So many reviews about the Mini Mic, but most have nothing to do with, what they actually sound like on a MC.

    Setting it to mono means BOTH mics have their audio baked into ONE track. Having it set to stereo means each mic has their own audio track.

    That looks and sounds exciting. I am always concerned with clipping since the mic is so close to your mouth. I currently use a lavalier mic inside the helmet (old one from iPhone) and I get the sporadic clipping. I have a GoPro 11. Do you know if the DJI mic can be connected to that? Thanks.

    • @MRSMI13Y90
      @MRSMI13Y90  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Technically it can .. you would need the media adapter/media mod plus the dji mic receiver to connect it to a go pro .. I used to run a GoPro but like the battery life on the action 5 sold me.. it will last almost 4 hours at 4k30… so I have two options at the moment , I’m going to make a video about it.. lav mic inside paired with my mic2 on the outside of my helmet .. or now I can just stick a mic mini inside with its magnet… yeah clipping is one thing u always have to be concerned with.. the mic mini comes with an audio limiter option I have switched on

    • @MRSMI13Y90
      @MRSMI13Y90  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Watched some of your videos and one thing if u go with this system that can work for you is to turn on noise isolation on the highway and it will help cut out a ton of the wind noise .. I like the mic 2 on the outside for that reason since I can click the power button with gloves and see the light go from blue to yellow indicating I have switched on the option ..

      @BenalRida 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@MRSMI13Y90 I mean my setup at the moment is not perfect, but I am glad that the current mic catches the surrounding sounds quite nicely (engine and exhaust). I don't like that to be muffled too much. Only the wind is the problem of course.

    • @MRSMI13Y90
      @MRSMI13Y90  9 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ yeah it does a good job for sure .. you can even run one in ur helmet with noise isolation and a second one in ur bag to grab Sounds and then mix them.. but honestly it does the job.. I go on the highway and can easily hear myself and placing the mics inside ur helmet with wind muffs helps a lot

    Hey buddy. Great video. I have an idea I'm itching to try out, but unfortunately the OA5s are out of stock in my area. So let me share it with you and if you get to try it it would be great.
    So I believe you have a cardo setup on your helmet right? Connect an audio splitter cable to the speaker cable from the cardo. Use one end of the splitter to connect the cardo speaker. Use the other end to connect an audio aux cable to the 3.5mm input of the Mic2 on your helmet. Now wirelessly connect both the Mic2 and the Mic Mini to your camera. This way, you can record your voice and also all the audio coming into your cardo, and you won't have to hook up your buddy with a mic, instead you can have the conversations of all your riding buddies through the intercom, recorded into the Video itself. You wont have to spend time syncing in post edit.
    PS: You may have to set the gain on mic2 to -12 as the audio coming in from the cardo could be loud.
    I can't wait to get my hands on an OA5 to try this out!

      @MRSMI13Y90  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I got the kit with two minis so worst case scenario I was thinking I can run the mini with me and another rider connected strait to the action 5 .. than the mic 2 independently records audio so it would be the only one I have to sync… so I can have 3 riders speaking and can record the conversation. Wait til tomorrow so u see what I’m working on.. I see where ur going with this and it will be a good example for you to kind of see.. it was first test so I now know what I have to do for the next time I run that setup . But great idea.. trying to run the least amount of cables as possible
