Thank you for the detailed review. The mini seems very tempting. Not a fan of the noise reduction and the Mic 2 sounds a bit better, but it's also heavier and I don't like having to play with 32-bit float in post.
That mini is kind of amazing. I'm going to grab one on Amazon. $59 is a very compelling price and the performance seems to be on par with the 2, save 32-bit floating or whatever it is. Good review!
Thanks for ur amazing video 👏 I have some doubts 1. Once it connected, will it automatically connect if we turn on the dji action and mic? 2. Is there any option to turn on mic as well while we press the record button at action 4? 3. Does it has the same issue that it will not detect the external mic for first couple of seconds of the video. Could u please bring some light on my doubts?
1. Yes it will connect automatically once both turn on 2. there is no switch to mic or in cam mic while recording. 3. when turn both on, give it a few seconds to connect. Sometimes, I'll just leave both action 4 and mic on. The battery life is already very good.
Great review. Thank you so much. I was just given as a gift to DJI mic 2 and I think it's a great mic I definitely don't need the mic 2 it's too bulky for helmets I like the mini I'm going to go bring it in and switch it off for the mini it does everything I need plus some thanks
Good video, in the area you talk about next to the fountain (05:55 - 06:15), it seems that the sound is quite "artificial" so to speak. For me, the DJI Mic 2 sounds better, but as you say, it is also larger, the battery doesn't last as long and it has a jack input. My idea is the same as yours, only if the leak comes out with a DJI Osmo 360.
I prefer to hear the engine and the street, so for me there must be two sound tracks, and only talking while driving. I sometimes drive through jungles and I like the sound of jungles, motorbikes, pedestrians, etc.
Great video, I’m looking to couple mine with the insta360 x4, first with BT, but haven’t seen much content about it. I want to see if the RX will sit inside the stitch seam of the video like the mic 2 set up does. Am due to go to Thailand visit my old neighbourhood when I was raised by my grandparents. Australian born but Thai at heart 🇹🇭
Thanks for the video. What happens when you turn the camera Off and On? Is it connect automatically to the MIC? What happens if you turn cemera and MIC Off and On? Do they connect automatically? What about if you turn the MIC Off and On? Is it connect automatically to the camera?

That was an excellent review. Well done 👍

Great video! 👍
Excellent review, i notice that with noise reduction high it sound pretty metallic...
Is it convenient to transfer footage from DJi 4 to iPhone via Bluetooth?? Great review of the mini ❤
@@awesomeagnihotrisvlog Yes, you must connect it to dji mimo app. It might takes sometimes depends on the video.
Great video thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks, nice video !
Mic mini with Low level of noice reduction is just awesome ❤
I agree!
Very similar quality, but Mic 2 maybe slightly better. Can always do a little editing to audio to enhance. Wind noise not bad, excellent!
Great video thank you for your review test. I have a curiosity for your motorcycle is the trail ct125🤔 is semi automatic

Clipping control exists when Dji Mic 2 connected? Or is it only for Mic Mini?
@@JukaMotoo it’s only in The Mic Mini
Does Mic mini support Action 2 camera ????
@@SJ_streetrider You will need a reciever for the Action 2.
@ Thanks 👍🏻
Can we connect in Action 3 without receiver
@@sumanerbhromon For the action 3 you will need the receiver. The transmitter only is compatible with action 4, action 5 pro, and pocket 3.

HI, just wanted to share my experience with DJI mic on NON DJI cams. It can connect, but the audio is not good, unless you pair it with a DJI camera.
@IAMKR15 just want to confirm, are you using the stand alone BT connection, or the connection using the RX and TX.
@@SWAYDRIFTAWAY only connect the transmitter only via Bluetooth
@ direct bt connection. If using the rx is ok.

@@MotoPavilion Yes, once you turn the camera back on. Give it a few seconds to connect. Same goes with the mic.

Did you choose
Stereo or mono ??
One mic is only mono. For the mic 2 I connected it to the other camera.
what was the speed you were riding while doing a vlog, do you think if you ride at the speed of 100 or 100+ you will get the same audio quality?
@@wanderwithniraj Yes, as long as your helmet is a full face shield. Just make you have a windmuff on you Mic Mini.
With bluetooth connection , I heard it diminishes audio recording quality.
Not really, It sounded crisp and clear to me
@@ouburban6839 Actually one reviewer said , it sounds better with the transmitter connected as opposed to just using bluetooth.
@@StanDaManReviews nonsense! You must have a transmitter if you use it with devices other than DJ.
@ yeah I think you are right. The reviewers were testing it with an iPhone.
Does it record internally for sync later to video ? Sorry missed it
The mic mini doesn’t have internal recording
