- In this video on “How to Pack Light” I give you all of the tips and tricks that I have learned along the way to pack less so I never have to check a bag. Packing light on vacation also helps you have a more stress free vacation!
Really the key to packing light is planning! During the video I give you a few tips and tricks to help make packing easier but a few of the top tips are: #traveltips #travel #travelvlog
Start packing the week before! This way you can audit what your are bringing a few days before you leave and possibly pare down on items. Also Multipurpose items as much as you can. Lastly don’t forget to look up if the resort has any dress codes or special nights that you need

This is a great one. We have been meaning to do a packing video for a while now. One great tip we have, especially if you’re going to an all inclusive is to take a 20oz or so tumbler. You might think that would take up a lot of room but it’s a great place to put sunglasses so they don’t get crushed and or watches, jewelry etc and it will save you a ton of trips to the bar for refills.

Oh yes..as a guy I can confess to and speak for myself in regards to overpacking. Mainly my fits I plan on sporting not to mention my skincare 👏🏼😉😅

One thing that wasn't mentioned is that some airlines have a weight limit for bags including carry-on. Have a digital suitcase scale to ensure your bag is under the weight limit. Bring the scale with you as your bag will be heavier on the return trip if you purchased a bunch of souvenirs.

I carry a small pair of scissors and Tweezers in a small pouch. Comes in handy when you are away and find loose threads, or buy something new to wear while away. The short eyebrow scissors are ok in a carry-on.

I had my tweezers taken away at security. It was so bizarre. Luckily, they were just cheapies from the dollar store.

Maybe wrap your shoes in plastic bags or disposable shower caps so your clean clothes don't come in contact with the bottom of the worn shoes.

The weekender bag on Amazon store is what u put under the seat on plane? Like personal item? They don’t say it’s too big?
Yes that’s the one! Not on United!
If the airline is checking carry on bags for free at the gate, do it. Chances are you are not going to find a place for your bag on the plane and it will turn into a disaster and you will be forced to do it anyway. They also appreciate it and may give you the opportunity for a free upgrade if it becomes available.
Awesome tip! If you get your seats in the front of the plane there should always be room for it!

Stupid question, can you take a backpack for your personal item and wear a cross-body Fannie pack also or small purse?
So depending on which airline it is! But usually they will make you put it in your back. I try to hide mine under a coat.

Fun fact I just tried to book the taxi guy to pick me up from the air port you are required to pay him a down payment which I don't mind but via PayPal I may have missed you saying this in Ur vids but if u haven't you can add it in. So I live in the Caribbean and we do not have pay pal I told him this and asked what method he has in place for Caribbean ppl who do not have pay pal his said none and he's sorry and can't pick me up basically lol smh and here I thought he was a true deal the way he say things wasn't inviting as well but I guess ah we would say all bread has its cheese. Thanks for the input! Yes he just started the down payment because people are booking and not showing up or when they show up they said they arranged something else. So as a small business he was losing a lot! We don’t get anything front recommending him! We are just trying to help people not get taken advantage of etc. since he’s a very small business and most people have Pay Pal he’s trying to keep to that for now!! Again great feedback and input. It depends on where you are going It shouldn’t be more than $50 usd unless you are going further north

Take her advise about packing sunscreen. We went to the gift shop and it’s $44 per bottle! No that is not a typo and that’s dollars!

Aeromexico states both carryons must weigh 22lbs total. How is this possible? Have u weighed your bags?
I have never had to weigh mine. But that does sound impossible. They want you to basically pay to check bags in

How do you pack enough sunblock without checking a bag?
I take the trial sizes or just over pay at the resort. Sometimes they sell it at the mini marts at the airport too. It’s worth it for the time you save. Airlines are often charging a lot for checked bags too.
