I still have goosebumps watching this vlog even after so many years.... those were the best days❤️❤️❤️.... watching it again on pandemic hours July 2020
Chance is the no matter where i am watching your videos from,m gonna watch it over n over again!! Wonderful compilations, great reviews and awesome background scores. You PTR guys are the best in business right now and definitely gonna make it bigger and better !!
another excellent review guys, good detailed look and good practical info passed on. i am a little concerned about the suspension, especially after seeing the clip where the bike swerves uncontrollably upon rebound from hitting a rough patch. is it negligible or could it be a serious thing Hyosung need to work on because indian conditions aren't all that rider friendly. anyway, all the best to PTR, you truly are revolutionizing video reviews,
When u said chances are you are watching this on hand held device coming from the same place as this bike... U were spot on. I was seeing it in my Samsung phone
Liked this bike so much that I was almost ready to go for it but after checking out the re-bound from the suspension..changed my mind... Thank you all for the great review!!!
The best part about your videos are the intros. Could you please review the cbr250r please? And I believe these two guys in the video are the best and the one who says 'neenja' deserved to be kicked out.
Congratulations for the video! I have one GT250R Black 10/11 and I just love it, despite several problems that some bikes have had here in Brazil I still love it because mine is perfect. I intend to get one GT650R as soon as I can...
Kudos to you for bringing out such well made reviews!! The quality of the videos makes me watch them over and over. Its great to see you guys wearing proper gear and sticking to lanes while riding (something other Indian reviewers don't give a damn about). However, even I am of the opinion that you should not have filmed passing vehicles from wrong side and riding at those speeds in traffic.
Dang..... very stylish reviews..... far more better than overdrive or any other news channels broadcasting with hosts with very limited knowledge on motorbikes. Great job!!
As owner of many sports bike, the GT250N and 250R included, i would say this review is very well made. I like it. Especially how u guys said big is better and compare it to India's lifestyle culture. Nice one! Few things that should be included is the digital meter. Quick survey among existing owner will tell that the digital display is often problematic. Many of my fellow GT250R riders suffer the same issue. Going 80 Kmh while display showing 220++ This only happen probably after a year or two of usage. Never heard of this issue in Japanese brand bike. Electronics wise, i guess some of the sealant around sockets is not that good. After a wash, often bike wont start. Also, EFI indicator lights often showing warning signs. There's a trick to solve it easily. Gears are a bit hard to put to neutral. And riding position, true.. its really engaging for cornering. But try after 1 hour journey and above, your wrist, your back will have tremendous load. The tank is way to long. Not recommended for short people, unless the 250N or swap to higher handle for the R. Love the feeling but not the pain. Engine is very similar to the Suzuki FXR 150 / FX 125 from the block up. It share the same piston, rod timing chain and tensioner guide as the Suzuki FX125. As for the block and head, the design is very similar but a bit wider and cam's equip with bearings. Other than that I would agree to all your review. Love your comment on the forks too. All and all this bike does have some material quality issue. But the bike itself is really stunning considering how cheap it is. Personally I still choose this bike over the Ninja due to price and styling.
They were selling those bikes couple of times in Tesco selayang. 250 and 650. I sat on both of them even balancing them on my left hand by holding the left handle only by standing. They are very light. Very attractive bikes.
Do any of you realised this video was uploaded 4 years ago when the ninja 300 and r3 is not even out yet. and fyi, starting 2013, Hyosung actually rebuild their bikes (gt250r and gt650r and so on) and improve their quality. Yes, the older model are shit but with the newer model, I haven't heard any problem just yet. So, get the 2013 model onwards.
Hi guys, very nice review !! Glad to know also in India you love this new 2012 model and his few upgrades. I'm french and I'm annoyed because only the 125cc are imported in france... For a cost arround 25% more you can get the 250 who gives a really better agreement for the performance/weight and the size of this GTR. The 125 has only half of power and torque of the 250, it should be too frustrating and less suitable for that bike's style and her size for beginners riders who want to learn well in aim of upgrade to the 600cc class... I really hope it should be available in the futur under €4K like the 2013 Daelim Roadsport/VJF 250 (the best bike in this class after the Hyosung imo) or the CBR 250R whose the look and size are still too tight than these both korean. Never forget to drive carefully and always with your protect gear on roads ! :)
love this bike i have an 07 gt250r with a screaming demon slip on pipe due to the lerner laws in australia i was stuck with a 250 and i have no problems with mine 33000ks on the clock regular maintenance and the old girl is very reliable plus it sounds amazing for a 250 only fault i have had is its slightly underpowered but its a 250 so its expected
I watch this in Everyday 2018.. This bike details really awesome.. Actually this slowly debit marketing.. But this was really unforgettable moments story details.. Love you all of one big maharaja
Who is the editor? your reviews make me buy all the bikes in the indian market. so damn cool!!! 11/10 :D. One of the best Visual Effects, editing, review..allover so good!
a very good review of the bike. excellent. i own one and u guys hit the nail on all the pros and cons. the biggest pain in the ass i found with this bike was the less than adequate SHINKO tyres.
Great review! I like the design, and there is no mistaking the hum of a V-twin engine. If they liquid cooled the engine with a radiator and fan, I believe the bike would be a favorite in many countries.
I just bought a new 2010 hyosung gt250r...its my first bike and i'm excited to see how it handles...picking it up saturday :) Although I felt more comfortable on the Kawasaki 250 when I sat on it at the store, the hyosung just seems more like the bike for me.
nice vid guys, I'm from Australia and live in the country and have just got the 2011 model gt250r as a starter bike and I love it! its awesome through bends, is abit sluggish after 100kmh but it is a 250. your problem with the kick stand is easy fixed by sliding your heel down between shifter and peg. my rear seat doesn't wobble at all. I'm 6'2 and 110kg and find it pretty comphy to ride on. I recommend it as a starter bike!
this one I feel is the best review so far from PTR Team. Thanks for the great work. The video "graphy", the quality, the sound , the picturisation is just awesome. You definitely put news channel reviews to SHAME. What I also liked is that you have started to put humor into your videos, specially "BARA HAI TO ACCHA HAI". So , keep up the good work and thanks once again.
Superb! Great choice there too! The Daytona 675 is likely to be coming to India by this year end! So enough time to learn big bike manners on the Hyosung first and then upgrade to the Daytona! Do remember to check our other videos too! Ciao! Ride Safe!
Looks like a really nice bike. Probably a bit down on horse power a 250 cc 4 stroke engine can be tuned up without any probs. Heavier oil in the forks will cure the rebound.
This review video had something different. Sagar dons a new A* suit, Roger stars for the 1st time and I liked how Ten Hut walked upto Kensha for mobile vs Ipad comparison,Less agressive background score too :P (pun intended). But seriously guys, loved the video.Great Job guys!!! Neatly done.
its probably the best review i've seen of gt250r so far on youtube....i've been riding this bike for about 7 months now....it's simply awesome....it's an eye-candy....i m from Nepal n its priced at round Nrs 7,10,00 which is Irs 4,43,00 n gt650r is priced at around Nrs11,30,000 which is Irs7,06,00....vehicle tax is more here so it will cost 'less' in India...gr8 job guys...keep it up...:)
PTR - let me tell you frankly that your all videos are just awesome but this one is the Best ... Awesome music.. hats Off to the director.. and i am sure that gt250r gonna hit market of Cbr250r as well as of kawasaki ninja 250r :)
Thoroughly agreed. That clip came due to the feedback from the previous videos where people wanted us to show how flickable is the bike in traffic conditions. We do not encourage street racing! and willl fix that for good. No cookie for scarface for riding like that!
Hi Jayanth, The underlying (subtle) theme to it was purely on engineering. We are glad that you caught the subtle theme and brought the topic up! The Japenese have their edge when it comes to Electronics & Automobiles. The Koreans have done a lot of "rights" in India in the electronics segment. One would say so too with cars. They are behind the curve as compared to europeans or the Japanese, but they are doing some progress. Can they pull off a Hyundai/Samsung? Time will tell!
I love PD and the journey of PTR to PD. But just look at this section 2:48 to 3:40 the kind of relatable explanations ten hut used to give is what I don't find in PD often now.
awesome background score, direction , presentation etc etc. this comes from a guy who has topgear(UK) episodes for breakfast. keep-up the good work. . one thing .. the scene transition graphics can be improved on esp the sound during transition.
i don't regret buying the hyosung as it looks better than other 250cc bikes & also bcoz of the size frame, it will make it easier for me to transition to a bigger bike (eg 600cc). i have a 2005 gt250r and yes i have had many problems, but i've learnt alot about bikes when fixing them. plus the hyo is cheaper... so go buy the hyo
I got a 2016 gt 250r and I've owned tons of 250cc sport bikes and this is my favorite bike I've ever owned love everything about it, if you don't want yours ill take it😆
Awesome review. this just seems so well thought out and of an international standard. well done to the PTR team esp. the guys working on the video editing and music. great hosts. descriptive and helpful review. moreover you have interaction on your channel which none of the others have and this makes it so very impressive. Uff the cornering on this bike looked crazy. Pricing for hyosung is really the key here if it wants to occupy ninja territory. Awesome video guys!!!
a very good review of the bike. excellent. i own one and u guys hit the nail on all the pros and cons. the biggest pain in the ass i found with this bike was the less than adequate SHINKO tyres.
I don't usually like these flashy, over the top type videos with all the music and that. But this was really good, thanks.
Thanks! We hope you have seen all the PTR reviews :)
