    Just bought this tent and tested it last weekend. Said I'd give a cheap tent a go and if it failed I would spend more next time. Really happy with it for the price. Set up is quick and easy and materials used are good quality.

      That is a nice little tent for the price for sure, hope you enjoy using it!

    I got this tent and it is definitely better than its price tag. Really good as a one person tent for beginner and car camping. I wouldn't recommend it though if you're a tall person like me (190cm) since the length of the inner tent is too short (that's actually a problem with a lot of Decathlon tents, they're just not made for tall folks). That's why I gave it away to my niece as a gift for camping in the garden.

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that's a pity that they make a bit too narrow for two people and short tents. Totally agree about the price-quality ratio.

      Which tent do you recommend? I'm also 190cm

    I got it the other day and went camping.
    Super easy to install.
    Was really windy and it was totally fine.
    Perfect for me and my dog. Not for 2 people for sure.
    I attached poles on a backpack in a socket for trekking poles, the other part of the tent folded and have it under the backpack. Not using storage sheet at all. Will for a long term storage at home only.
    I ordered undersheet from Dechatlon as I am not into cleaning it every time but I am sure it would hold water, done a test at home.
    For me it is lightweightish as I don't mind having more weight in a tent as I usually carry 20kg min.
    Also I am usually having tarp setup and this tent got me into tenting again 😂
    Perfect also to have in a car.
    I like light holder attachment on a top of inside of a tent.
    Zippers are so good. No loose seams and all in I love it already

      That's amazing to know you got a nice experience with this tent and thank you for sharing, it will be much appreciated by many other viewers. But, man, 20kg is HEAVY! It is still not the bulkiest and heaviest tent, that's true. Let us know how it goes after some time of use, would be great to know. Have a great tenting season!:)

      @@WalkingNatureWorld true, I postef it cause I know how it feels going around comment sections to find answers lol
      20kg is nothing special man hahah weight is relatively heavy or easy, for me it's nothing. I can feel it but it's something I am used on and it's normal for me.
      Sure thing, will do leave a longer term use comment at the end of the summer prob.

    Thank you thank you Excellent answer. On my side on this MH100 tent. I removed the rods in favor of a single walking pole.. My tent has been outside in my garden for 35 days.. Lots of rain and very strong wind.. No problems outside or inside no rainwater, no humidity. Only very comfortable inside and plenty of room for bivouac equipment. I have many photos but how can I send them to you? Thank you again, good luck to you.

It can have two people inside, I will use it to camp with a friend soon, but usually me and my dog will be using it, will store it in a car to use it on Croatian coast or just for car camping somewhere. • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As with any other tent under sunlight it is not comfortable to be inside, the light color helps a bit with that but overall it is not advisable to stay under sun if possible. Also when the stay is long the materials will suffer a lot from it.

    NOPE.
    This tent is only useful if you are on foot and alone. Other than that, it simply makes no sense for all the other average users.
    The real deal is mostly the 3PERSONS standard or Fresh&Black MH100, and also for a very low affordable budget.
    But livability inside is immensely better for two persons and their equipment.
    The difference in weight more less around 1Kg Bulk the same, discomfort half. While transported in vehicles or divided on two backs it is insignificant for such livability and benefits... mostly the interior hight 120cm makes the difference... 1m vs 1.20m, the less condensation, the ability to cook inside while raining or forbidding outsisde, the less narrower and regular squared shape against wind. And also almost the same costs in terms of money 30€ vs 45€ (discounted) and payload. Two person Tent is a waste of money also if you are alone voyager, go straight for the 3 person you definitely won't regret a penny.

    Why dont they give those 4 extra pegs?

    • @WalkingNatureWorld
      @WalkingNatureWorld  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The tent is self-standing so we usually don't pitch it on the 4 corners and use these pegs to pitch the 4 guy lines instead. So you have 2 pegs on the sides, one for vestibule and 4 on the guy lines, no need to take extras.
