    When dealing with this type of car were you dont know what anything is or where it goes- best to have an Ohm meter, and a signal generator to isolate speaker leads- if you dont have a signal generator, you can touch suspected speaker wires to the top of a small 9V battery like used in a childs toy and see if you get any pops or noise from speakers, then mark the wires-

    • @Mad-Duk_Machine_Werkes
      @Mad-Duk_Machine_Werkes 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LOL - you didnt need to cut a long hunk of wire, if you probe under the dash the suspected amp signal wire going to the back with the red lead, then ground the black lead to chassis- then go in trunk and hold suspected amp signal wire to ground and you get your beep- BINGO!

So if you use the chassis on the far end you put your meter on the cable and the chassis on the wire end and that will bell the cable out for you. i hope this helps

      Paul Wisdom Roadkill is different but lately it has been kinda forced if you know what i mean. They seem to have very little time for making the videos and its all much the same. Wrench a little bit and do burnouts. In the beginning it was fresh, like the Jeep rat rid and roadtripping a mercury custom and all. Now they might just take a old project car out of storage, make it run again and do burnouts. Its really just half ased forced content.

    Just a helpful tip, if you want to complete a circuit without using a long length of wire you can use an exposed portion of metal on the car frame with your ground from the meter, and the ground from whatever device you are going to, thus completing the ground through the aluminum frame of the car and saving you some wire.

  • @Tommychu1993
    @Tommychu1993 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    re: blue amp switch wire checking, rather than run a second wire all the way across the car to test it, you can also ground/earth one end out and meter your continuity to ground on the other end. Obviously check that it isn't powered or grounded before you ground it, might get some unexpected results from that.
