This video will be responsible for 100s of blown up quads.
they're just trying to sell more frames ;)
skill level = over 9000!
Destroyed quads is just part of the hobby. It takes a lot of walking through weeds looking for your quad and time at the bench soldering it back together to get that adrenaline rush when you finally nail what you’re trying to do :)
I've spent a lot of pretend money in DRL so far...
USE DJI FPV DRONES ! FULLY FIELD. REPAIRABLE!
🤡🤣
Matty is so kind teaching us these tricks while at the same time looking like he could crush that entire structure just by looking at it! Cheers Matty! Love your flying man! 😋👊👊👍🚁🚁🚁🚁👍👍
MattyStuntz is a good teacher. No laughing at the learning process. Just all business and encouragement on the progress. #respect
Still mindblowing. Super sweet Matty is sharing secrets. Please have more Matty.
Prop Bender: Yes More Matty please, & just a touch more cowbell as well.
Matty is who inspired me to fly after seeing his vids! Canadian legend!!!
Matty is a Canuk!? SO sweet!
That matty hug tho. Matty love!!!
my two favourite pilots in one video? pure dopeness
one of the better rotor roit vids I've seen in a while
Matty's such a good teacher , tommy learned that trick quick
Thank you again Matty! The struggle is real and you are an inspiration in more ways than one.
Teaching Matty flips is a lot like teaching juicy flicks. Super easy concept to convey, and simple stick movements but the difficulty is trying to impart the momentum & angles you want to be at. And in both tricks it's gonna vary by kwad & camera angle too. Matty does an excellent job explaining it.
Nice job instructing Matty. I see you differently now from what I saw before. Keep rockin
@Rotor Riot Amazing to see such an amazing pilot like Tommy can still be thaught new tricks.
Very informative with great tutorials!
Yes yes yes! Thank you gentlemen. Congrats Tommy!
Best RR video ever. Thanks everyone involved.
Nicely done guys ... some wonderful skills. Cheers
I do this flip all the time now with my 3" sparrow. Once we got it down, I started to feel like a pro🖒
I used this new skill and motion to save my ass a few times too haha
Thank you so much Matty & Tommy. This trick makes best scene when filming I think.
More of a masterclass than trick series. Awesome. Some of the first FPV footage I ever saw was at this bridge with Matty.
Sooo sick!!
One of my fav RR videos. Great stuff!!!
Beautiful
Very cool to see and hear Mattys perspective on this. Thanks for the video RR team. 👍🏼
Thank you!!! I always see guys doing that trick and it's so mind bending to watch. This vid explains it very well. Finally think it might be something I can pull off! Thanks guys!
MORE.... matty needs to be the only RR trick teacher :-)
Love the trick series. Keep them coming
Excellent Trick Series. One of the most challenging tricks.
Tryin it... Thanks
Dude looks so big and badass yet so kind hugging that guy 😂
Ingenius!! So well explained and demonatrated! Really helpful to many pilots oit there trying. Making mattyflips great again! I really love the trick series and wish there'd be more on a regular basis. Thanks guys!
One of the best vid out! keep it coming RR!
That was awesome
sick !! thank you guys !
Thank you! Awesome tutorial!
So good!🙌🙌🙌
Wow this epic video finally came out!
Great video thank you
FINALLY!!!! One of the best looking tricks to film explained so I can stop smashing my kwad..lol. awesom vid....
I knew it, I knew it was not because of the camera angle, this helps, but it's not impossible. Thanks matty.
I've been stuck for months trying this. I have the same problem as what Tommy said with looking at just sky. Would be great to have a structure like that bridge to learn with. Thank you Matty and Tommy for breaking it down and providing a new prospective how to do a Mattyflip
doing it between two tall trees helps too - you can use the top of the trees as your "pivot point" to look at
I saw ledrib teaching them on a streetlight ... Maybe that would help?
That is a great tutorial. Thank you guys so much. Another great video.
Great episode - it was nice to Tommy, learning the Matty flip from Matty. Thanks for sharing
Awesome!!! Thanks!!!
That looks so sick!
today i got it!!!!! YEEEEEEES!!!!! WHAT A TRICK!!! best wished to Matty, Tommy & Rotor Riot - you are such an inspiration for me!!
Great video Matty.
Awesome tuition Matty - makes a lot of sense and is really helpful
Nice work breaking it down bro!
By far the best in the trick series! Absolutely amazing, thank you guys!
Acetacy FPV i agree
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill. Stuff like this will bring people’s skills to new levels. That was badass!
That's right, keep the trick episodes coming, every single one helps
Love it 😍
Very nice, now we might get to see everyone MattyFlippin ;) Thanks Matty, Tommy & RR!
Great video.
Hell yeah!
Matty!!! Yesss
Very helpful. Thanks
I love the trick series! And this was a great one. I’m definitely going to break some gear after this video.
That was an awesome trick breakdown
EXCELLENT !
Great. Like your tips and tricks!
Awesome, Tommy've learned this trick highly quickly
Nice
Sweet thanks
A reference point, in this case the bridge beam, is key to successfully pulling off a Matty flip. Train your brain to fly backwards, it is the fundamental maneuver that will open other "Matty" tricks :) Thanks for sharing man.
Dayuuummmm.... thts SICK bro... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice, I have to try this
Nice one! Great flying, Tommy:)
Do a 2 guys 1 radio challenge. The challenge is that 2 guys will fly a quad, but they use the same radio transmitter at the same time. One guy will use the elevator and yaw stick, and the other guy uses the rudder and aileron stick. It's like a three legged race, and it's a pretty fun challenge. It would be an awesome video to see the guys at Rotor Riot do it!
Yeaaaah tommystuntz🔥🔥🙌🙌
You guys are making it look way more easy than it is!
Don't forget to buy a couple of props when trying this lol
More tutorials with mattyStuntz please :)
Have a great week and keep on flying!
Mind is Blown, Hope to someday be good enough to do that trick.
I reckon a Matty vs Nowak day trip would make for the most epic RR episode EVER! Please Chad?
I reckon you'd be right :P
I've only been practicing on a SkyViper v2450(Level-Mode), & now "Liftoff" for the past 1.5-2mnths, on an XBOX360 Ctnrlr, but I've already felt that gradual backward pitch manuever! I'm saving up for a FrSky Radio, so I can start my "real" practice. Thanks Awmygawd, and Matty!
Hollaz!
Incredible! Quod Rockstar!
Nice tutorial - thanks guys
That transmitter is sick.
damn tommy learns quick
Brilliant video! Watched it twice already 😎
Nice tutorial 🙏🙏
I am beyond excited for this one!! To learn a Mattyflip from the Man himself?!? Priceless! 2:29 freaking SICK!!! The way I learned them was by holding the quad in my hand, tipping it back to a "safe angle" so the thrust vector would be bringing me backwards, but wouldn't be losing or gaining much altitude, and then paying attention to the position my FPV cam was in when my quad was tipped like that. In my case it's basically straight up. So whenever I'm looking straight up in the FPV feed I can reasonably assume that I am traveling backwards in a way that isn't about to go smashing right into the earth, but isn't bringing me up too much either. 2:48 DAAAYUM!! that was sick!!!! I did a super delayed one of those on my Mattyflips video! no Tommy OUCH!!!!!!! bad touch.... mean bridge... 2:59 GREAT TIP! 3:29 all that Juicy Flavor tho bruh! and yeah I run 25-30deg too but refused to let thinking these moves required high tilt keep me from figuring them out :) 4:16 so basically you're saying Ummagawd's a BOSS ;) I LOVE that last titch bit you said too man, fundamental building blocks for sure!! ForeverFlow bro!!!
Yesssssss thx
so funny! This the exact location I finally taught myself this trick and pulled it off :)
This has to be the best tutorial on Matty Flips... Obviously from the creator
Now that was BadAss!
been messing with the backwards flying for a little wile now it's become part of the mix just love that shit
Dope!
5th!!
YES MATTY ON ROTOR RIOT!!!!
My biggest question is why the hell isn't Matty officially Rotor Riot? Before I even knew about RR Matty's videos were what got me into FPV.
Not everyone who got someone into FPV can be on Rotor Riot. There are lots of big name pilots now, They can't just all be on RR.
yeah, but not everyone is Mattystuntz either. Besides inventing the Matty flip, he's paved the way for a lot of greatness in the multi-rotor community.
Matty for King off freestyl 😊👍
This trick messed me up till one day just clicked. I'm still impressed
30° no max for me freestsyle....nice hearing this explanation!
thanks for the tips matty now I'm starting to do matty flips but needs more practice
Nice one! Tommy and Matty is such a great combo - moarrrr pls!
hell yes
beautiful! love this 🙏❤️🍺🍺
That spot is so sick yo
Fellow Canadian my bruthuh... Shout out! You guys all got rad flow and style out the wahzoo and it's a blast watching and growing with ya's.
See you in the sky!
Been learning how to matty recently, trying to do it really low, I've almost got it ;)
