    watched this video and learned them in a couple of minutes. Try this:
    - Orbit then orbit smoothly the other way around.
    - Knife edge orbit then kife edge orbit the other way around
    - trippy spin into trippy spin the other way around.
    do these three tricks going up and down the obstacle.
    find a nice exit to the next trick/obstacle
    do this all of these trciks a couple of minutes, make it smooth or perfect. now got this on lock

    Hi Guys, great stuff. I found the perfect simulator map to practice this type of "backwards flying" Rotor Rush fligth sim has a fairly new map that features simple tracks but they are set in a gridded dome environment. You can start by flying around the walls of the dome, matching the tangent as you work your line up higher on the walls toward the top of the dome, you naturally roll into the backwards flight almost unknowingly. As you approach the top center of the dome you are doing a trippy spin.

    You guys should try to do one more thing to get more people into FPV by every month all of you rotor riot members draw straws for parts and use a bunch of different parts you guys have to put into build and to send to one person each month. So one would put in the frame, one would put in the motors, one would put in the ESC’s, one would tune it, put in a receiver in etc. Because I’m struggling with the equipment I have and I know that myself and a lot of other people out there would love and cherish a new quad built and tuned by all the different members of rotor riot. Thanks for showing my the way to the sky rotor riot. FPV ERYDAY

    I absolutely LOVE this trick!!!!!!! It was the first super difficult thing I ever set out to learn, after seeing Drew's original tutorial I just HAD to learn it! By far the coolest thing I've ever seen. That tower was PERFECT! 2:40 sooooooooooo locked in!!!!!!!!!!! I find it harder to bring it in via the sideways orbit. I like to do the "Robogenesis tree truck spin your back into it turn around" method for starting them. Watch his vid "Session 5" if you don't get what I mean, he does it a few times in there, and even freaking trippy spins the tree too! I'm gonna have to try Stingy's "Dive up at it as you come behind, then use that back movement and just start twisting". That really looks interesting. LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!!!!! Cheers! :)

    And if u so it knife edge its calls a hurricane and when you have a 3D quad you can do inverted funnels in hurricanes so instead of being upright with your camera pointed up doing a flat funnel you can do an inverted funnel and look at the ground

    What camera tilt angle were you at?

  • @victorstr9396
    @victorstr9396 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you look at this maneuver from outside the quad, it's basically a tail-in orbit. It's like a funnel maneuver used for 3D heli but a wider radius. Heli does both nose-in and tail-in funnel, right side up and upside down, coz is doesn't carrying camera. It would be nauseating from the cockpit view.
    I sometimes imagine a second quad chasing a lead quad doing stunts through obstacle so we can see both what's the quad is doing and what's the pilot is seeing at the same time.

    So, u keep going up/same height because of the momentum you build up from before? It just seems such a long time u can keep your height while upside down at 2:25. Or are u using the 3D mode of your esc reverse prop direction while upside down? Or are u not upside down?
