A nail and a bit of wire from a calendar works a treat. The nail idea from Brummie and also him saying don't throw away any old bits of wire.
He's a man of wisdom 🤔 but don't tell him 🤣.

I seem to be doing ok with mortice locks, still struggling a little with lever padlocks.

Not a difficult lock to pick but a good one to get the feel for lever locks. I used Brummie's ideas here as inspiration.

Just wondering if those plastic springs give muted feedback.
Not sure if springs give feedback at all to be honest with you. I didn't feel any difference between these plastic springs and metal ones.
