Thanks Chris. It's actually not a bad lock to pick and after the clean up looks decent too. I would call it a bargain, pitty there's no key though. I was tempted to take it apart and make a key. 🙂👍

It's a cut down key. I have made a couple from nails but you have to be pretty precise with the hole. I usually try to find keys I can reinforce with some silver solder. Cheers LPP.

The tension tool was just the right length so it opened the lock but didn't completely push the bolt. That meant it was easy to close so no picking closed necessary. 🙂👍

I bought the cleaning stuff (rust remover) from Temu. It doesn't smell so great, a bit like armonia but pleased with how it turned out. Just a bit of rub with metal Polish after and it turned out OK. I'm away at present at an African wedding in Reading but when I get back (Monday) I'll email a pick to you. 🙂👍

Yes that red case looks pretty nice. It's a great size too as it slips nicely into the pocket. This time I decided to try and add foil impression tools, to get the case to close I had to dumb down the lever tools though. Plug4uk you are in the draw my friend 🙂👍

Hi Tonkas. This Covert EDC kit is a tad light on lever tools to make room for the two foil impressioning keys, told and foil. Even though the lever part of this kit is light on tools it would still open a lot of locks. Tonks you're in the draw my friend. 🙂👍

Yes the case does set it off well. Light on lever tools to make room for the foil impressioning keys and their tools. Still, I think it's a decent enough kit. Feeling much better, not 100% and it's really dragged on for weeks as you know all about illnesses dragging on. Closest I come to a topple for healing purposes is an occasional drop of Baileys in the coffee 🤪. Cheers Tinnie and you my friend are in the draw 🙂👍

Yes it is a really nice shade of red, I've got blue too which is nice also silver and black.... which means more giveaways 😂. Cough is on the mend, the matt cold too which I've struggled to shake off. PickSmith you are in the draw my friend. 🙂👍

This kits a bit smaller on the lever lock side due to fitting in tools for foil impressioning. It can always be added too. Lots more kits made up ready and some in the pipeline so plenty of opportunities for more kits. NigBee you good sir are in the draw 🙂👍

It's a very nice milestone to pass to be honest and then we look to the next one too. I had decided ages back, somewhere around 900 subs that rather than do giveaways on milestones I would just do them randomly 😂 for some strange reason I know not 😂😂😂. I like these cases as they are slimline, look nice and are very covert. The red looks nice as does the blue. With the foil impressioning kit in there too it doesn't leave much room for many lever lock tensioners and wires. Still the one tensioner will still fit in quite a lot of locks. Plus it might inspire people to make their own tools to add to it. Cheers Nick you're in my friend 🙂👍

@roysammons2445 Yes, please. I'm still around in the background. My mom passed away, and there's just so much to move. It's their whole life, and I've been working absolutely flat out for the past eight months. I haven't had time to scratch myself. I still pick every day, and at night for a few hours, that's my enjoyment. But it's been good to see a lot of new people on their journey. Keep well, my friend. I'm pretty sure I'll do some more videos shortly once I get this house out of my hair-painting, new carpet, just a big freshen up before I put it on the market, new kitchen, etc. Once I'm done, I can relax a bit and have more playtime. Life gets very complicated sometimes, not in a bad way, but new doors open, and different opportunities arise where I can invest with the sale of my mom's home. 🙏👍

@@Marson440 Keep your eyes out for a Squire 220, 440 or 660, There are others but these ones give you a good 4 levers and good feedback. Some future giveaways will be including some lever padlocks so keep your eyes open, you just never know.

I think the case helps as it looks really nice. They are slimline so fits in a pocket easily making it a nice little Cover Kit. It's a little different than I usually do with adding the foil impressioning foils. You're in the draw my friend 🙂👍
