    He’s definitely one to watch. I can see him challenging Magnus for the world championship if and only if he works on his classic time control preparation. At blitz he’s in the to 3/4 in the world already.

    I know that case and it's not only these days. I also know a case of egyption - israeli not shaking hands in greek-roman wrestling.       It is regular the way Firouzja promoted, the rule was modified some few years ago to allow players to not put the pawn on the 8th rank before changing it for a piece.

      you are allowed to touch to adjust if you say `I adjust` in french (the language of chess) .. he is saying something as he touches I presume its this.

      Actually they should say " adjust" but most gm or high level play already assume their opponent juat to adjust, i saw it through a lot of year people dont say but other dont claim so its gentlemen rule they dont claim because most gm know their intention of their opponent
