What a match-up in the finals! Looking forward to it, as they are both just great players!
Oh, but I thought Arjun could only win against 2500 rated and lower players? I swear the lack of acknowledgement towards Arjun the past couple of months have been nothing short of distasteful. So proud of him and hope he becomes the first of the Indian protégé's to break into 2800s
Arjun is funny. He's 2800 basically but almost invisible against the other top 10 players. Maybe his style doesn't invoke interest or that he hasn't won the big comps to have him seen in the same league as Magnus, Hikaru etc.
Well, he did that. He farmed 2700 players this year. No one said he is not a good player. Just not a 2800 one.
@@sdragon28he farmed? Does he himself invites his opponents? It’s not his fault that he hasn’t faced magnus, hikaru much. He has defeated many 2740/50s Gms btw.
@@sdragon28that statement sounds kind of redundant saying he’s farming 2700 players 2700 is very strong for a GM
@@kunalverma5450that’s what I’m saying those 2700 GMs are strong opponents
I didn't know its a classical event
This is why we need an evaluation bar. Cz exactly when pragg traded the bishop for the Knight, the evaluation became better for Arjun and here Agadmator says objectively it should be a drawn position..
Dancing Knights, sounds like a good Bollywood movie
#suggestion Yoo-Caruana and Aronian-Shankland from round 5 of the US chess championship
Did anyone else hear Prokofiev playing at 6:03?
The reason that Pragg gives up the pawn and goes straight to a pawn down endgame is that Arjun has two knights. Pragg can just give up all of his material to get Arjun’s pawns off the board and it’s a draw.
"chess is life", if you dont have one.
I dont get it when people who apparently "have lives" are the ones that feel the need to comment on others lack thereof.
idk why antonio didn't show a detailed analysis of levon and sam's game, it was a significantly better game than yoo vs fabi , filled with brilliancies. ik he loves fabi and so do we all, but ig he could've shown both the games separately, in details. anyways...
Trading the bishop for the knight in the endgame was an insane decision for Pragg.
Arjun is by far the best we have had among the young genz. Better than Pragg and Gukesh both.
@@kunalverma5450I agree Gukesh is my favorite and both he Arjun and Pragg they are all improving very strong players
Ok you can feel that way but I have this Great feeling my guy Gukesh will become 2024 Fide Champion this year very deservedly Pragg and Arjun will have to come see him if they want to take that title Gukesh is the real deal I have faith he will come through 😊♟️‼️🇮🇳🏆❤️
gone Medo forever :(
Lost a pawn ... Traded pieces to lose... It's comical how lower rated players wobt do what these higher rated players do
Pretty early
Wow I'm early
Was really hoping for a final btw Alireza and Arjun. What a final would that be !!
