Bruh, thank you so much for making this video!! Digging the classic SF2 references. I grew up with Ape Escape and Tekken 3 on PS1, and now I have an idea how to start making music with those sounds!!
Oh wow , this is a great tutorial , good explained and to the point. Seen many others doing all kinda other stuff in between and yab around and that distracts from the goal , especialy when they work on software. Also great that you used mainly stock sounds. Im gonna check if you have any other tutorials of other genres aswell. Best wishes from the netherlands
Bad boyyyy!! Still learning mpc workflow. Good tips Der. Ay you should try using the 16 level ting on drums n that man. Gets that old skool Amiga feel hahah. Repitching snare rolls n that is fun AF!! Especially if u put a filter n a dub echo on top lol. Peace
Very nice sir, lovely touch in degradation of the Amen, went back to 93, lovely 950 vibes, very cool Blezz, very cool, nice pad work, and that god damn it boy is why you run the TH-cam init🇬🇧
So now that my MPC One had arrived I spent most of the weekend programming breaks. I am wondering though, once I have drums on track 1 when I create track 2, to put bass on for example, should that be a keygroup? When I import a bass sound like this I can't see it listed or hear it when I hit pads. Not sure what I'm missing here. Thanks.
If you're importing a bass sample I'd definitely use a keygroup, to assign the sample after loading it you need to go into Program Edit/Samples and select your sample from there.
Its been holdin up well, 3 solid sessions so far without recharging and no issues. Might leave it on playing a heavy sequence over the night now and see if its still fighting when I wake up!
Thank you for the great video! Why did you not choose to use the warp function to make the amen break sound fluid? Is there an advantage or did you just want to keep it simple?
Thanks for watching! For keeping it simple and translatable to any sampler/sequencer. I like to start in that end regardless, warping is a later step for me. I'd sequence the chops how I want them and resample them then use warp for example. Also the real time warp sounds like sh* on the MPC
@@BlezzBeats Thanks for pointing out the bounce function, bro. If i work with that, the track seems to be muted somehow. can you tell me why or how to solve it? have a nice sunday!
Not sure what you mean, it depends what you wanna do. If you have a loop set up right and enable warping it will warp it, but it won't warp something if you don't tell it to.
