Was torn between the P1 and the Boss GT, as a beginner to intermediate the showcase of the built in metronome and loop functions sold me on the P1. The drums were just a sweetener to the deal. Thanks for showcasing this, just ordered mine because of your demo!
If nothing else, it would work as a backup. Takes up basically no room. You never know when that 1 thing goes down or out.. Rich probably has the best idea, of just using it as practice or messin' around with new riff ideas' etc.
Got the Prime P1 and F4 footswitch back in January 2023; through a PA it sounds huge! I could easily gig this rig. Prime P2 is available now in China; looking to see what it offers!
Also discovered this from Perf De Castro's channel. Wish someone would do a practicality comparison bet ween this and what a lot of people already have - a BiasFX+IrigPro I/O combo.
Have anybody try to use a real CAB instead the ones included with the footswitch.... I tried and every time you swith another preset the CAB goes on even when you saved it off, so creates a big horrible dupolicated CAB sound... Do you know how to solve this out?
I had same dilemma. I just ordered the Mooer. Hasnt arrived yet. Mooer is heavier and slightly longer life battery plus a Tuner plus there's the footswitch option to maybe purchase later. Plus split channel on the bass profile. Downside is only 4 preset choices on the device vs 7 on the Nux. Mooer has proper 1/4" output vs little headphone jack on Nux.
My P1 has traveled the world with me several times and delivers everytime!

Perfect for busking.
I Rig HD2, phone and a BlueBoard, free GE Labs App. Add an expression pedal and go. I use an ipad and a Dunlop wah. Fits in a backpack chords and all.
Great for covers. Just a matter of how much time you want to put into making presets. It’s great for me as a garage band guitarist.

I’m just finishing up my Mooer SD30i video. That Bluetooth connection delay is every time. But it sounds great!

Can you use this without connecting to phone with your saved presets made before gig?
Yes, if you have presets saved already, you don't have to connect to a phone.
