Claiming anything as #1 is like pulling the pin on a grenade and sitting on it 😆. The fan boys come out in droves! But I think you were spot on in the 1 spot everything else just can’t compete with the over all package. For the 2-5 spots they’re all interchangeable IMO, not a bad one in the bunch. Cosmo is just in another level

As a world traveler, the Cosmo is my favorite hotel ever. That place is super high class. The balcony that each room has is incredible to just chill with your favorite drink and watch the city come alive as the sun goes down. My first trip to Vegas was in the 50s with my parents and two brothers. We stayed in something that looked like a motel. They all looked like that. There was a basic pool. Mind blowing how it has changed over the years. I am glad I have that memory of early Vegas. Favorite trip was 2003 when I stayed at Caesar’s. I thought it was great. I think if I go back, I would stay at the Venetian or Cosmo, based on your recommendations.

People arent dressing in formal wear to go clubbing.. never have i ever been turned away from a club..only club thats a hassel because of the women/men ratio...get cute, get your confidence up and go have fun. I've never stayed at Cosmopolitan, so I can't say it's not the best. But I've walked around in it and it looks very nice. My wife and I stayed at the Wynn about 10 years ago and have never felt the need to go anywhere else. I think the Wynn has a lot more appeal if you're 40yrs or older. It's much more laid back. If you're younger and looking for a little more action, the Wynn might not be the place for you. Some of the things that get overlooked about the Wynn is that they still have free parking, no "early check in" fee, and a real adult pool where, there is no cover charge and the chairs are free.

Just came across your channel! Totally agree with your WORST hotels list!
I wondered why you didn’t include the Bellagio? I stayed there when it first opened and LOVED it! One of my patients gave me a huge framed and matted professional photo of the beautiful glass sculptured flower lights above the registration desk for taking care of her Mom. It’s one of my favorite pictures.
The only thing with the higher class hotels is if you gamble, anymore you can’t find a table to play any card games for less than $10/play which of course, is an expensive proposition. The raggedy hotels on the “worst list” have more affordable tables. Dining in the hotels at fancy restaurants is not my thing when I’m in Vegas. The room, albeit lovely, if you’re out and about most of the time, you just need a place to park your head after gambling, swimming, sightseeing, etc. HOWEVER, you don’t want a nasty bed and linens & a BR to do so.
The Mirage and Bellagio were my “go-to’s in the past. Are they still up to par now? It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Vegas.
Love to know if those 2 hotels have maintained their hotel or have they gone downhill over the years?
Thanks for the tips of these grand hotels. I also like to be near the strip where you can walk or cab it to another hotel to either gamble or see a show. Thank you!

The best hotels in Vegas depends on what your vacation goals are. Do you like to be pampered? Do you like art? Do you just use your hotel as a crash pad? Is location your priority? For me, my I love the the nostalgic El Cortez. That being said, my all time top hotel of all time is Cosmopolitan.

Surprised Bellagio didn’t make your list. Also, the only letdown at the Cosmo is the food. I don’t know if they still have that Wicked Spoon buffet thing, but that was LOUSY, and not just because it was expensive, the food just sucked. People-watching at Cosmo is amazing, BTW.

I think the Signature At The MGM Grand should be on this list. You get a jetted tub and a useable refrigerator included in a standard room. You have access to the MGM pool area + separate pools just for the Signature. I don't know why it is a 4 1/2 star hotel instead of a 5. However, this allows you better prices for rooms.

Loved my spacious modern room which has also a view of the strip, the Enchant and pools of Resorts world and the amazing largest screen that covers one side of the Resorts world. I had a drink at the mesmerizing bar Gatsby's though I didn't like my cocktail. 😄 Dined at the Famous Foods with so many Asian food choices made me so happy ( I am Asian😄).
