For one, Jesus started the Catholic church, and therefore Catholics in the Catholic church can go to heaven if they know, love, and follow Jesus and his Commandments. Not all religion is against God. And nowhere in the Bible does it say such a statement.

The catechism isn't the only way people learn the Catholic faith.
I am very well informed, more than most Catholics but have never read the whole, or even most, of the Catechism. Yet, I know the teachings of the Catholic church. It's more of an encyclopedia of what we believe. It's not the source of our beliefs. The Bible is the main source for our beliefs. The Bible and tradition. Those beliefs which come from the Bible and tradition are catalogued in the Catechism.

Such an important topic! When I was still a Jehovah's Witness, that "whore of Babylon Church" myth was constantly impressed on my mind; it took me quite some time and effort to study the matter thoroughly in order to understand the real truth.

You just went from one harlot house to another. Any sect that is building temples is playing the harlot. Babylon is confusion and the whole of Christianity and any other sect naming the name of Christ is part of the whore of Babylon. Christ IN you is the only mediator between God and men in the new covenant. Christ IN you is the Good Shepherd and He leads us out of the whore of Babylon. Until we hear and understand the voice of the Son of God, we will remain in harlotry and fornication. Only the Spirit of Truth can guide you into all truth. That is the only way to experience true salvation and perfection. It is through much tribulation and affliction and fire that we are saved. If you experience the coming of the messenger and mediator of the new covenant, you will be despised and rejected by catholics and Protestants. Christ IN you is the narrow way that few find. He is the resurrection. He raises us from the dead. To be carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. If Christ IN us is our teacher we won't be going to any temple made with hands for fellowship. For what fellowship does light have with darkness.

So, the real Church is not a denomination, but the few people spread through the globe. The true Church has no physical building: it is a spiritual building.
It saddens me when we address protestants as "brothers in Christ"/Lutherans or their preferred denominational name but they come up with names like these for our Church

I used to believe this as this is what I taught from others that had this teaching regurgitated to them. I could definitely see Ancient Rome fitting the title especially the creative ways that they killed Christians. I could also see pagan Rome making a comeback. I know paganism in Greece is making a comeback like all places people are going back to witchcraft and ancient practices. Lord, have mercy and protect Your children. Set free all who are under this practice.
So is Paganism in Ireland and other countries too. That's what happens when we walk away from God. We become more like animals again.

I remember when I was in South America, a very known Sectarian Pastor/Theologist in Chile come into a Cathedral during mass and started yelling and cursing at the priest and calling the church the Babylon whore. If you don't believe, just here on TH-cam you have thousands of videos of how sectarians like to call the Catholic Church. That's why when I call a sectarian ignorant or stupid is not an insult but an "attribute". Sects behave like parasite/viruses, because they cannot survive without insulting and attacking the Catholic Church. You can say whatever you want, but you know it's true.
Also you mention about Ecumenism and you know it's the initiative of the Catholic Church. So in other words , the Catholic Church turns the other cheek and shows love to the attacker. You never see Sectarians/Protestants , Muslims, Jewish, etc, reaching out the Catholic Church, it's quite the opposite.
@@Bullcutter Just to clarify, ecumenism according to Catholic theology is not friendship. It's evangelization. The point of being ecumenical is to start dialogue to try to bring everyone home to the one true Church of Jesus Christ. That includes Muslims. We are not singing songs with them around a camp fire but are supposed to be evangelizing them. Supposed to be. Some in the church think it is friendship and learning from each other, but the Catholic Church condemns that and all syncretism. Just so you know what ecumenism actually is (or should be).

Sir you are either decieved or deceptive, let God be the judge. Here is the truth:
1. The prophecies of Revelation begin in the days of John and end with the coming of Christ. 'Babylon' will be destroyed by the 7 last plagues immediately before Jesus returns (Rev 16). This fact rules out Pagan Rome. Babylon must still exist.
2. Babylon is described as a woman riding a beast (Rev 17:3). Woman in Bible Prophecy = Church (Eph. 5:23, 2Cor11:2), Beast = Kingdom.(Daniel 7:23). Thus woman+Beast = Church+Kingdom. Woman riding beast = Church controlling Kingdom. Obviously this is NOT Jerusalem controlling Pagan Rome. That never happened. Rather this is Rome (the city of 7 hills) controlled by the Papacy (the unfaithful church).
3. The Papacy did rule over the kings of the earth. Research: "Papal deposing power". Plain to see you are wrong.
4. The Papacy did SLAUGHTER millions of Christians! Research: "the inquisition" and "Papal Crusades". This lie was your worst!
5. The Papacy is called Mother of Harlots because of all her daughters today; churches that still espouse her doctrines like Sunday (rather than Sabbath) sacredness.
6. God is calling all His people to come out of Babylon (Rev 18:4). That is God is calling you, dear reader, to leave this organization before He pours His wrath upon her.
Jerusalem, that's an interesting interpretation. Fits much better than the Vatican it seems to me now. Jerusalem will become the Holy City, but that's on the new earth and it's called new Jerusalem: "I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." - Revelation 21:2 And also the Third Temple may be needed to be built. Edit: I now heard an interpretation in another video of the woman as representing a church, but I think city fits better in this context.
jerusalem is occupied now by the old whore tribe that owns all of the banks, thus gold, in the world.

The official priestly color of the Pope, bishops, and priests is white. The white robe a priest (bishop, and Pope) puts on first in their ministry is pure white. The seasonal Albs they put on over their priestly white robe is meant to represent the season or feast of that particular day. The 'clerics' they wear outside of Mass (the black and white) is not their priestly garments; it is just the custom that developed over the years to keep them humble and recognizable.

Cannot drink from the Lord's cup and the cup of devils. Satan appears as a messenger of light and his ministers disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness. The whole carnal harlot church system is under strong delusion, drunk on the wine of her fornication. They are as children tossed to and fro and carried about by every wind of doctrine by the sleight of MEN and their cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive, just like the scriptures say. As it is written, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written, cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm and whose heart has departed from the Lord. The whole carnal church system is under a curse, trusting in the wisdom of men. This becomes extremely obvious once Christ comes WITHIN us and leads us into all truth. As it is written, we are the circumcision who worship God in Spirit and rejoice in CHRIST JESUS and have NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH, the carnal minds of men.

Ezekiel 16 describe the idolatry of ancient Jerusalem
Unfortunately, the catholic also (still practicing until now) participate in making idols, worshipping Ishtar, dagon inadvertently, and called people "father" disobeyed Matthew 23:9 - 'And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.'
And none of that's actually true. Except that we call priest father, but that's biblical.
Jesus in Matthew 23:9 was using rabbinic hyperbole. Similar to when he said if your hand causes you to sin cut it off. It's not meant to be taken literally. We know this because men are called the father from the beginning of the New Testament to the end, both in a physical and in a spiritual way. In fact Abraham is called our father in faith six times just in Romans chapter 4 alone. Paul and 1 Corinthians 4:15 said that he became our father in the gospel. So we know that all fatherhood whether physical or spiritual derives from God's fatherhood who is the ultimate and eternal father.

Definitely not. One anti-Catholic tried to tell us recently that the Catholic Church came about in the 4th century with the merging of paganism in the Roman Empire. We showed her that the Catholic Church existed for hundreds of years before the 4th century, and there were more than 30 popes before this time. So, how could it have been started in the 4th century. Plus, if you read the writings of the earliest Christians, they were all Catholic and teach Catholic doctrines, reflecting that in their writings.
So, truthfully, it's a Protestant myth that the Catholic Church descended from paganism. I'm a cradle Catholic, and even though I went to Catholic school and was confirmed as a teen, I wasn't properly Catechized. I didn't really understand Catholicism, which led me to believe it was unbiblical.
Now as a Protestant, I've discovered the Early Church Fathers, which makes me question everything. I just want to believe what the Early Christians believed---and what they believed doesn't seem to resemble modern day Evangelicalism.

You are correct. And that's the sad thing is that most Protestants don't even look at the early church fathers or even know they exist. The Bible does not refer to the Catholic church directly because the it was instituted 300 years after Christ was born. So pretty much all this explanation feels self condescending. Same with the pope.

_Pope_ Clement was writing in 70A.D. So how could popes and the church come about 300 years later when there were over 30 popes before the year 300A.D.?

Guys do you feel good in the Catholic Church?
I want to understand if I'm a true Christian or a fake one, but to be honest there is something about the Catholic Church (and churches in general) that I don't like and for some reason I can't put trust on them.
I hope the Lord will make my heart open to the Church if this is His will.
The problem is, there's an abundance of pride in the Catholic Church!! Read John 21!! Jesus was rebuking Peter for his excessive pride and trying to get him to change his ways!! It was NOT an endorsement of Peter!! When Peter was executed, he exhibited a false humility (i.e. "pride") telling the Romans to crucify him upside-down, because he said he didn't deserve to die like Christ died!! And in doing so, he gave satanists their symbol: the upside-down cross!!

This is a shocking statement!! There's absolutely no way you can justify this.
Everyone has pride. Protestantism and non Catholicism was built on Pride. I know more than the church that Jesus started. My own interpretation of the Bible is correct. I know more than everyone else and anyone who doesn't agree with my interpretation is wrong. That's the heart of protestantism. The reality is pride is a sin common to man, all men.
People have been saying that the Catholic church is going to die for centuries haha. The fact is it's not. Jesus said he would be with his church until the end of time, and that the gates of hell would not Prevail against it. So the Catholic Church isn't going anywhere.
Lastly, just because the Plan of Salvation includes Muslims, doesn't mean they will have salvation, or doesn't mean their religion is a religion of Salvation. The plan of God is that everyone would be included in Salvation, but that doesn't mean that they will be. Pope John Paul II specifically said that Islam is not a religion of salvation. So we don't believe people can get to heaven through Islam, and so you're misrepresenting and misunderstanding the catechism.

You do know that you have to take scripture in context, right, not just one verse?
Another point about the golden cup in her hand is that people have said a priest fulfills this at mass by holding up the chalice with the wine during the consecration. If it is that literal, that it is literally the physical cup, the chalice, the priest holds during mass, then why would it say SHE has a golden cup in HER hand? If the "she" is the Catholic Church, well, the entire Catholic Church isn’t holding the cup, just the one priest is. So if it were literally about the priest, it couldn't work because then it would have to be the golden cup was in HIS hand since all priests are men. Also, the cup the priest holds in mass in nearly all Catholic churches is never golden but made to look like gold. It's made of brass or steal or aluminum or other metals. Why wouldn't the Bible say he holds the steal cup in his hand if it’s that literal in speaking of the cup the priest holds at mass?

Actually, the Catholic inquisitions (as opposed to the Atheist and Protestant ones) were by far the most fair courts of the day. The Monks had fair trials, weighed evidence, had witnesses, etc, unlike the Prots and atheists. That's why we have documented records of people blaspheming in secular courts so they can get transferred to the Catholic courts for a fair trial. That's also why when the Witch hunt craze of mass burnings took place, it was mostly a Protestant thing because the Catholic Church already had a fair court system in place which exonerated many.

The quotes you read from The Torah are not about Jerusalem. They had not yet settled Jerusalem. And Moses and Aaron did not kill the prophets. So that looks like a diversionary tactic on your part. Let's be honest! As you say.
We didn't quote just from the Torah but from the whole Old Testament. And there are countless quotes that were from the Old Testament regarding Jerusalem. And they even say Jerusalem in there. So we don't have to guess at it.
Nobody said Aaron and Moses killed at the prophet. But you know that there are several several references to Jerusalem killing the prophets, and Matthew 23 Jesus even laments over it.

There's nowhere in the Bible where it says baptism has to be done in a certain way. The only formulas given are that it has to be with water and that it must be done in the name of the Trinity (Mt. 28:19). Adults were baptized into the faith as the Bible is chronicling all of the Jewish converts to the Catholic faith. But you can't submerge a baby underwater. Or some children. Or in other times, like for the first 300 years of the church when Christians were being persecuted and killed, many had to hide underground and couldn't be baptized by submersion. So they had to be baptized with water in a different way, sprinkling. Or pouring. This was foreshadowing and Ezekiel 36 which talks about being cleansed through sprinkling of water and a new heart. So no, you don't need to be baptized again. Once and for all.

Vatican 2 does claim to be a New Mass which is forbidden by St. Pope Pius V Quo Primum. The Mass was codified and never to be changed under penalty of anathema.

There is a whole lot of error in that one small statement. The polka never tried to stop the council, and he was all for the council. Second, Vatican one also had Protestants and non-catholics at the council. So that is a moot point. The pope is allowed to make a new Mass if he wants to. But really it's the same Mass but with changes. And again, if you understand the authority of the Pope, a pope can change another Pope's teaching as long as it's not dogma. And the Mass is not Dogma. In fact, most of the things that rad trads call Doctrine or Dogma are actually just disciplines which can change. Like the language of the Mass for example. The Mass you see today is not the mass of Vatican II. But an abuse of Vatican II.
You might want to read a book that actually gives the truth of what happened and not shallow radtrad arguments. Its called, The Pope, the Council and the Mass." Vatican II is illegitimate and authoritative Council of the Catholic Church which all Catholics must adhere to. Any Catholic who rejects the pope or a Catholic Council is no better than the Protestants who do the same thing.
Either way, Vatican II is not the whore of Babylon, and anyone who says it is does not know Catholic history, tradition, or the Bible.

I have protestant friends who have compared the tearing out of one’s eye or cutting of one’s hand if it courses one to sin with John 6,which deep down know full well you don’t tear out your eye or cut of one’s hand. I said we know full well that you don’t cut of one’s hand or tear out one’s eye so why didn’t Jesus just say don’t sin. Can someone help me to understand this. I said to Ann and John that Jesus would have been obliged to say oh don’t go away I only meant it symbolically but not only did he not say that he actually reiterated what he’d just said that his flesh is real food and his blood real drink. Priests wear _black_ on a daily basis and the normal color for priests at Mass is _green_ not purple. Jerusalem wore purple and it's mentioned several times in the Old Testament. She is also called a whore/harlot several times as well by God.

So, Revelation mentions the harlot dressed in fine linens, dressed in purple, killing God's people, and acting like a harlot. No passage in the Bible mentions the Catholic Church, but many mention Jerusalem and all of those things are mentioned here (linens, killing, purple) to describe Jerusalem. More could be mentioned.
