When the Empire of Babylon fell, the Church of Babylon Satan saved and relocated it and would later attach it to each of his kingdoms and change its name.
When Satan created Rome he attached his Church to it and changed its name to "THE HOLY ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH". Which, Satan is the creator of the Catholic Religion as well as the Counterfeit version of Christianity aka Worldwide Version the world follows.
When Rome fell the Church of Babylon did not fall and Satan changed its name to "THE VATICAN" and now waits for Satan's Final Empire = 10 Nations of Europe with Germany as its lead Nation to form and then Satan will attach The Church of Babylon/Mystery Babylon to his Final Empire.
To the Empire, will be a military and political leader called "THE BEAST OF REVELATIONS" aka "THE KING OF THE NORTH". The Church of Babylon aka THE VATICAN The Final Pope ("THE FALSE PROPHET") will be the WORLDWIDE ANTI-CHRIST God warned mankind of (Each Pope of the Vatican/Babylon has been A Worldwide Anti-Christ) Satan has Mankind worshipping. Final Pope (The Final Worldwide Anti-Christ) will have real power from Satan and not by God to use that no Pope before never had.
Those 2 are the 2 Beasts God warned mankind about. They are also Satan's counterfeits to God 2 witnesses to come. For they will steer mankind away from following Gods 2 witness.
*How will they do that? Ask me and I will tell you how and clear defining things they can be used to identified Gods 2 witnesses from Satan's 2 fakes.
As you know Satan's counterfeits win over mankind and has mankind doing what mankind can do to murder them and eventually God will allow it to come to pass once they have completed what they were sent to do.

EXACTLY. Rome is the only one that fits, religiously, economically and in power. You have to have ignore so many of the descriptions to force it to be any place other than Rome.
When we bring in the distinction between Vatican City-the city where the Catholic Church is headquartered-and the city of Rome, Hunt’s postulate is even more unlikely, since Vatican City is not built on seven hills, but on only one: Vatican Hill. This hill is not one of the seven Rome was constructed upon. Those seven (the Quirinal, Viminal, Esquiline, Caelian, Aventine, Palatine, and Capitoline hills) are located on the east side of the Tiber River. Vatican Hill is located on the west side. Among the Church Fathers it was common to refer to Rome as “Babylon,” but even here Hunt has problems because all those references were to pagan Rome, which martyred Christians, rather than to Christian Rome. There also would be the problem that Vatican City did not exist in the days of the Fathers.

Mystery Babylon killed the prophets
Jesus speaking Luke 13:33 - Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Jesus in Matthew 23:37 - O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
the two end time witnesses of God are mentioned here:
Revelation 11:8 - And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Jesus, MY LORD was crucified in JERUSALEM, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt. NOT Rome or in Mecca or the USA - maybe your Lord was in rome.

No. The literal Babylon was never destroyed in the manner the OT prophets said it would be. The coming Assyrian Antichrist will set up his power base there or immediately next to it.

New York City is mentioned plainly as some of the islands because of the Islands removals in the Revelation island judgement and NYC is mostly islands except the Bronx.
As Babylon gets destroyed look soon mentioned the removal of all the Earth islands.

I have the upmost respect for Mr Shuttlesworth BUT, we are OBVIOUSLY getting VERY close to something BIG happening OR, SOMEONE has went through an AWEFULLY LOT OF TROUBLE to make it look like there is. And to think and/or say that America is NOT Babylon, is being in denial, likely from a person that resides in America (which i do too, by the way, Central Kentucky, born and currently live)...but, if you have been keeping up very VERY CLOSELY with world events and biblical prophecies that have been unfolding over the past several years, then you would realize that America MUST BE, IN FACT the place the bible implies is Babylon, and NOT just New York but the entire country of America. There are multiple multiple things and factors that imply that it is true. To prove it, ill list a few of the big ones:
#1. America fits the PERFECT word for word description of Babylon as listed in the bible. It CANT be the Roman Catholic church because they have no ports for all the merchant ships to set afar out in the ocean and mourn while ashes and smoke rise up from its SOON destruction.
#2. Russia has REPEATLY been WARNING all countries of the world NOT to help the country they are having conflict with currently and America with its NATO group, has done nothing BUT bug and pick at that warning by doing many MANY things everyone was told not too.
#3. A little known FACT is that Russia was publically seen burning an effogy of a mock version of the tower of Babel...a VERY VERY OBVIOUS indication that they WOULD BE THE ONE TO DESTROY Babylon/America. And some people have said it would be New York only, BUT that is WRONG because Russia doesnt have a problem with ONLY New York...it has a problem with the entire country government of America.
#4. America has held the position of the worlds largest superpower for the longest time over the past century, and WHEN its destroyed it will make the largest impact on the rest of the entire world when this happens so they will fall right in line and go along with the antichrist systemthat takes over afterwards.
PLEASE, DO NOT KID YOURSELF...America OBVIOUSLY VERY MUCH, IS Babylon...and you would be crazy not to be ready to meet your demise, ESPECIALLY if you reside in America.
REPENT & PRAY, and beg hour family and friends to because while the rest of the world will have the luxury of going through the rest of the tribulation...Babylon/America, WILL NOT! GET READY NOW!
I’ve never seen this gentleman before. I just saw a YT shorts from him that says American is not in the Bible , so I’ve come to check out his channel. In the comments are people being in love with what he is saying, but it’s incorrect.
The Bible says that it is the Lord who calls pastors, prophets, teachers, etc.. Has God called him to be a teacher? These people are being misled, at least in this video. Also people need to read the Bible for themselves. The Holy Spirit is the teacher, listen to Him. We are in the very last days, there’s no time for nonsense.

Revelation 11, Jerusalem is called spiritually Sodom and Egypt, and said it is that great city, in the OT God called her a harlot, and that is where all the prophets where stone, also if the temple in Jerusalem is built again then Satan will set himself up as God in 2 Thessalonians 2.
But at the time of the end the Jews return to Christ and when He returns He delivers it from annihilation by the Antichrist. Jerusalem and Babylon are contrasted in Revelation.

Yes, when you connect the two Woes of Eze 16:23 with the two Woes of Rev 18:10, 16 and 19, and the Woes of Mt 23 seems to point to Jerusalem Jerusalem. I think the scarlet robe of the women Rev 17 indicates the blood of the prophets and saints of Rev 16:1-7. Seems to all connect to Isaiah 1:14-18. How the faithful city has become a harlots Isa 1:21. God will refine his people when he gathers all her lovers in judgment Eze 16:35-42.

Hey tiff- there’s a guy named Rick Pearson and his ministry is called Prophecy USA. His whole TV show is based on the premise that USA is mystery Babylon. There’s a good argument for that. He’s not a flake but I don’t put much stock in it either.

The United States fits the description of Babylon in Jeremiah 50 and 51. Ancient Babylon was not destroyed by fire.

Mystery Babylon is the east coast of the USA. Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Boston together are referred to as a Megalopolis which literally means "Great City". All these cities have ports with merchant ships coming & going from all over the world. And Washington DC is built on seven hills.

She will never be inhabited

Those verses seem to indicate that yes, Babylon will never be rebuilt and that MYSTERY Babylon is end time

I have seen persons on this forum speculating the identity of “mystery Babylon.”
Based on my understanding, it is Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots, and The Abominations of the Earth; the name of the great harlot is a mystery.
Revelation gives us clues as to who she is, note her attire: purple, scarlet, adorned with gold, precious stone, and pearls, in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and uncleanness of her harlotry.
Another clue: She is sitting on the many waters; was drunken from the blood of the holy ones, and from the blood of the witnesses of Jesus, with whom the kings of the earth committed harlotry/whoredom; and those inhabiting the earth were made drunk from the wine of her harlotry/whoredom; stick a pin.
Using the method, Scriptures interpret Scriptures; for no one has authority to speculate or form their own opinions on God’s word, not even Jesus, His Prophets, Holy Spirit , and apostles did.
Ok, her attire: you would’ve noticed she is wearing priestly garment, without the color blue, see Exodus 28:5-12, in fact read to vs 43, note Vs 36.
So why the color blue is missing?
See vs 37-38, Fasten to it a blue cord to mount it on the turban, it shall be on the front of the turban; and it will be worn on Aaron’s forehead, so that he may bear the iniquity of the holy things that the sons of Israel hallow/consecrate in regard to all their holy gifts; it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before YWHY / the LORD.
Ok, what is on the great harlot forehead? A name which is a mystery, John was amazed when he saw her.
Just that clue alone could help us understand that this imagery shows a deviation from priestly duties, it is not a true representation of God’s priesthood-the Levitical priesthood-Jewish religious leaders in Jesus and apostles day in 1st century, deceiving the Jews to keep them in bondage in Mt Sinai covenant, which Christ came to liberate them from.; saying they have no king but Caesar, totally rejecting Christ, don’t want Him to reign over them; see Ezek 9:1-8, note where the wrath of slaughter began, see who Jesus placed all the righteous bloodshed on earth on, in Matt 23: 29-38.
We must know and understand that the prophecy in Revelation portrays the destruction of Jerusalem and it’s temple which happened in 70AD, as Jesus said, in Luke 19:41-44, Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21.
We cannot divide the prophecy to make it fit in 21st C and beyond.
Note the context of Revelation in Rev 1:1-3, it is what God gave to Jesus to show to His servants, see Deut 18:15-22, John 12:49 -50, Acts 3:21-23, who are His servants? The apostles, as in Titus 1:1, including John.
Note John 16:12-15. Also Rev 1:3, …. The time is near, meaning in John’s time.
Know that within the book of Revelation the events are repetitive, so Rev 17 & 18 is showing the judgment of the great harlot, see Isaiah 1:21, How has the faithful city become a harlot? I have filled it with judgement, righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers, referred to Judah & Jerusalem, see Isaiah 1:1-3+,
Mother of Harlots:: see Hosea 1:1-2+ cross ref with Deut 31:16, after Moses departure this people-Israelites, will rise up and go a-whoring with foreign gods of the land they are entering, and forsake Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.

Why do most theologians separate Revelation 17 and 18? Revelation 17:7 tells us that they cannot be separated. V.7 tells us that mystery Babylon is going to be explained, but that does not take place until chapter 18.

This is how we know Rev 17:10-11 is for TODAY and not hundreds of years ago like you’re being told by False Prophets.

- This tells us that KING 8 is one of the 7 NAMES. Kings 1 thru 4 are DEAD. King 5 is not running for office. King 7 will be taken SOON. That leaves KING 6 or TRUMP.
