What color mascara do you recommend for a blond with green eyes and they are actually multi colors. I like for them to pop. Do you use a cream around your eyes to draw attention to them. Thank you dear for your help. 😍
As someone who also has sensitive eyes that love to water when I do my eye makeup your tip of using a cotton swab to absorb the tears is brilliant and something I'll defiantly be doing in the future. Thanks a bunch!
@@CertifiedToSimp it's actually not as scary once you get used to it!! I usually use gel eyeliner and a super small paint brush and it's a lot less scary doing it that way :)
Those are some really interesting tips. I've been wanting to master the upper waterline. I like the q-tip idea to hold up the upper lid. The closing the lid on the pencil looks...tricky, but very intriguing. Great video!
The first trick lining the upper tight line with the cotton tip worked great! Had no idea how to do it and was always afraid. I too have dry eyes and my eyes water often so felt comfortable with your tutorial. And my tight line liner lasted 12 hours!
You know what they need to invent? Is a color for the water line that is a white bluish grayish color that matches the whites of the eye identically. White is too whit and cream is too brown... know what I mean?
I love the look of tightlining and waterlining, but no matter what I use, they don’t stick. My eye-skin must be too wet. My eyes tear up a lot. Looks very good on you.
@@EimearMcElheron Hello lovely lady, Great tutorial! Can you help me with how to tightline my upper waterline without it printing on the lower waterline? I've tried white eyeliner but no joy. Thanks xx
Hey Eimear! I've been watching for a while, and i have to say you are fantastic to teach these tips and tricks👌,you explain everything so simply and make it so anyone can improve or try out any make-up look👍 Thank you for sharing☺!!
Your eyes are beautiful for this type of application because you're young and your skin is very supple. But I have found the older I get the harder it is to find a good pencil and try not to put myself in the eyeball. I just love a dark sultry look. Thank you kindly for your post
Very helpful. If I wanted to black tightline, but put a nude colour inside my lower line, is there anyway to stop it from transferring or is there a brand you can recommend that’s non transferable?🌞🧜♀️
you are so incredible at what you do! I have a question I'm hoping anyone can answer...When I wear black or any dark liner in my lower waterline, it always ends up building up in my inner corner and getting "gunky." Even if I set it with a black or same colored powdered shadow, it still does this. I've tried not taking the liner in too far to see if it helps, but even then it still works it's way to the inner corner and getting yuck. Am I the only one? I don't hear anyone else talk about it, so I feel like I'm the only one lol
Ellen Marie O you're not the only one. I see this complaint about eyeliner pencils all the time in the comments/reviews sections. I think water/tight lining is something you have to touch up every few hours if you use pencil. I don't usually line my bottom waterline but I do tightline my top. The only pencil eyeliner I've found that doesn't collect in my tear trough is by IT Cosmetics. It also doesn't irritate my eyes. When I was in high school (a long time ago) I used waterproof automatic liquid eyeliner in my bottom waterline. It never smeared or transfered. I could even swim in it. The trick is wiping off the excess from the applicator brush & only getting product on the "ledge" near your bottom eyelashes. Let it dry thoroughly. If it touches the wetness of your actual eyeball it will not only smear, but most likely sting. The eyeliner I used is no longer available. I don't know if this would work with the current liquid &gel eyeliners on the market, but if it's wp, I don't see why not.
It happens to me too! Doesn't matter what I do it gunks up and then like.. bleeds out the inner corner making it look terrible. I love doing a black bottom waterline but I hardly ever do anymore because I've tried everything and none of it seems to work. The ONLY pencil that seems to do decently is the Marc Jacobs highliner - but even that does it after a few hours. It just takes a little longer than most.
Ahh thank you! I’ve just recently gotten back into doing my makeup after four years of not doing it. Doing my liner the usual way makes my eyes look smaller and does not make my lashes look thicker 😂. I will be switching to tight lining!
I have to do my tightline first if I'm doing it because it makes my eyes tickle and water terribly as well. It's torture to do but it looks so good that I do it sometimes anyways
Very good tips here. I especially like the q-tip trick of holding up your lid to tightline. I've found that my eyes can only tolerate 2 brands of pencil in the waterline/tightline. Anything else is very, very irritating. I'm sensitive to mascaras too. My eyes are just so watery in general, I must be careful & use wp mascara & eyeliner. It's not a big deal using oil based removers.
It can be such a nuisance can't it? I'm the same with regard to pencils, I only have a few that I go between :) Delighted to hear that you enjoyed the video. Thanks so much for watching ! X
