  • A day trip we made for Islay to the Island of Jura in the Inner Hebrides. The gorgeously untamed island of Jura is one of the wildest places in Scotland. Located off the mainland's west coast, the long and narrow island is known for its soaring mountains, delectable whisky, swirling whirlpool and local population of just 200 people (who are outnumbered hugely by over 5,000 wild deer).

    i just found that my people came to the US from Jura in 1792. I would love to, at minimum, visit in the near future.

    Videos would be Soo much better without the background music. Helps to take in and appreciate the beautiful views

    Aww such a lovely video I live in and from Norfolk, England but I used to live in Scotland for a while and lived on the Isle of Islay, Bute and Cumbre west coast of Scotland Ayrshire is lovely but the Highlands and Inverness will also be my favourite :)

    A very flat short island & you’re driving your car 🤷‍♂️ .. leave the car & the ferry dock & get on the bikes you have in the back of your car! you’ll have a far greater experience.. you even have dry weather to cycle in …
