ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

I've never sung outside of _maybe_ the car and lullabies to my younger siblings when they were too small to know any better ; I'm a harried Med school student sharing a tiny dorm room with two other people... Probably no intentions of pursuing singing myself at least for the next.. 5 years, maybe. But I love listening to music and have always appreciated just art in general.

You’re awesome! I had cervical spine surgery 7wks ago and i am currently in a neck brace recuperating. I had a follow up appt today with my doc and he says everything looks great and the brace will come off in 9 days. I have to say I’ve watched a lot of your videos and they brighten my days! I love music and singing but not sure if I have what it takes to be able to sing. I mean everyone sings in the shower and think they sound great but its what everyone else hears that scares us.. lol.. i felt like u were talking directly to me today.. ha ha.. to refresh your memory i posted the deleted scene of A Star is Born for you to watch and cry to... :-) #justkeepsinging

This fear you are talking about is my exact problem atm.
My vocal coach always say that I was beyond "good" the day I dared to sing in front of her...but my fear or my shy thoughts blocking my great potential.
We are working on this...I'm excited what I'm able to do, if I have the right confidence :D

Wow.... It was incredible. It's amazing. ( I mean is your reaction) very interesting. That's why I always drink my green tea.
I don't generally comment on YT videos but just had to chime in to say although I've heard and read multiple versions of the self belief / confidence / feel the fear and do it anyway message, sometimes you hear it in a certain way from a certain person and for me those last few minutes of your encouraging words really struck a chord. I've been feeling very stuck in life the last few years for various reasons, but music has always been an outlet for me and while I'm more of a player than a singer, hearing that makes me want to finally get those little nuggets of ideas that have been floating around in my muddled mind out there into actual songs with the vague possibility of playing the live one day. Thank you 😊

So I go through phases of what I watch on the tubes, so when the Dimash craze was sweeping the planet I subbed to like four or five vocal coach reacts to channels that covered him. Well you are the only one I still constantly watch and I'm still subscribed to. I’d love to see one of her bigger, more recent songs (Bad Ideas, Crush), but also some of the lesser known stuff would be great! Personally I think the songs Dream, Small, Make Me A Robot and Interlude lll would be great to react to. She’s an amazing singer but especially lyricist and it would make my day if you could react to her!
