As for the circle of wood at the new opry house .it actully came from the center or towards the back center of the ryman stage . I know this cause i toured the ryman in 1987 or 88 before it was redone to what it is today . I stood in the spot where hank williams ,jim reeves and patsy cline stood . The hole in floor was there it was towatds the middle but back close to the backdrop .the original backdrop and curtains were still in place .it was so cool they should have left it alone .
