The plant textures are wonderful on the gel plate!!! I wonder how that HVAC tape would pick up the alcohol ink off the plate?….you’ve sparked an experiment 💕
Beautiful effect! Thank you!😊 This is just a theory, but, if you seal the herbs and the paper in some way...a sealer or varnish of some type? The tape should keep the front protected from moisture and humidity, but sealing from the back, as well, might help. This probably will not prevent eventual deterioration, but might prolong the life of the card.
Great thought, I’m hoping the glue and water on the back will act as that sealant but an additional coat with a spray would be a good idea! Time will tell!😀.
Excelent, I swear I start to look for the fly in my room😂, great technique. I wanted to try this technique with aluminium and double side tape,an cardstock stencils or masks). I made myself the same question about the integrity of the plants, will see❤
Very cool idea. I'll try printing on the gelli plate with the plant textures! ❤❤❤

@@TwoOldCrowsMixedMedia I'm making some plant texture plates without the inks. Justvforvtge gel plate.
These are all fantastic! I think the silver parsley is my favorite of them all! Your herb gel prints on the back are fantastic, tio. TFS. 🙏🥰
I had that song my head for days😂. Inside secret-that was cilantro, but it just didn’t fit the melody! I think parsley is the only herb I don’t grow!
Excellent session as always. Thank you.
Thank you!!💕
