    The only country flag that contains a Hindu temple in it, the greatest and mightiest of all, the Angkor Wat ! Khmer dynasty had excellent relations with India for centuries and our very own South Indian King Nandi Varman II was of the Cambodian descent , we have a soulful connection with Cambodians ! Long live our friendship !

      Our ancestors, our scholars and our educators taught us and reminded us that our culture and religion are from India, our first King was Indian. India is our root of many things we have. It’s sad to say that our Indian friends has done very little to help Cambodia, especially when we were going through the difficult time. I hope one day India can see our values and our struggles to protect the very same culture we’re preserving and help each other like brothers.

      @@khmeremperor1729 I agree with you. While there has been co-operation in restoration of monuments around Siem Reap and other places in Cambodia, our partnership from India did not really go leaps and bounds, the way ideally it should have happened. I sincerely hope that the coming days will bring some changes to this effect and we have strategic partnerships in different fields to bring our Cambodian friends to new heights .... Let us stay optimistic and for sure, I personally hope to be around many other places around Sambor Prei Kuk in future and I did explore Siem Reap over couple of weeks before .... Thank you very much for preserving the monumental culture across Cambodia and still revering our ancestors ....

      This is one of the reasons why majority of the Cambodian love and respect their king and their royal families. The king always shows respect and love to his people and the whole royal family members follow suit. Princess Norodom Jenna is just another perfect example. She always greets her audiences with respect regardless of their rank and status.

    India and Cambodia share great historical and civilizational links . Angkor Wat is the biggest Hindu Temple in the world . The Khmer dynasties were Hindus and it's imp to cement the relationship, especially when Cambodia of today is under complete influence of China and looking for new partners to counter China and Cambodia is a border state to China also.

    • @khmeremperor1729
      @khmeremperor1729 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cambodia still practices Hinduism, but not as much. Cambodia is believed to be under the Chinese influence. But in reality, Cambodia will welcome all countries and will not take sides with anyone. Competition between superpowers is not our interest. China, India, Australia Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, UK and many more navy ships has docked at Cambodian naval base. And if this gesture is not enough to prove our centrality then nothing else we can do. I personally wish to see India pay more attention and play more active role within the region.

    That dance wasn't cultural at all. It should have been a traditional dance or still better - a simple exchange of gifts / bouquet. He is the King and there needs to be a proper welcome.

      It's a cultural dance of Rajasthan. "Kalbelia" .

      @@aarushisolanki5110 As an Indian, if I am not aware of this dance type - then rest assured Cambodian King may not be aware too.
      It takes deep understanding to appreciate culture in such dance. Which the king at the first glance may not have.
