Holy shit this is beautiful, especially the part where the mc played all the possible scenarios in their head. I had to stop a close friend from shooting themselves in 2022 and it was very traumatic for me and i would often go into thought loops of what could have happened if i didnt message them at the time, to the point it will feel exceedingly more and more real as the loop continues. Its a painful thing to live through and this animation felt very personal to me. Thank you for making this

As a former xan addict, i feel like its kinda dumb to have you the player "fix him" as its almost impossible to get sober for someone else. Sobriety is never linear, i do think it would be cool to be able to get him in rehab tho!

I remember when I first stumbled upon this cutscene, it was like year 3 or something I was married to Sam and decided to make friends with everyone, when I walked in the wood area and saw that.. man it hit different since id been in a similar place before (minus the alcohol). And, I remember seeing that choice that said “it’s your choice, but just know that I’m here for you.” It just.. I needed to hear that so many times, the worst is when you tell one of your close friends/family members and they say they’d do it too if you did. Thank god I’m out of that place now and happy. Sorry for the trauma dump lmao.
