How can you not love pole fighter AND Weapons of China? The fake martial arts fight with Fu Sheng alone is one of the best and a bit of tongue in cheek genius.
So I'm gonna be that guy and mention that I like PARTS of Fists & Guts lol...specifically the part where Gordon fights the Ninja character, I really like that fight lol.
Movies that were missin from the tier list by Gordon Liu: 1. Warrior From Shaolin 2. Crazy Shaolin Disciples 3. Shadow Boxing Fist of the white lotus is a Master Killer and Treasure Hunters is Master Killer Tier...i think that treasure hunters is the best comedy movie out of all than my young auntie.
Great video chaps, I am a huge Gordon Liu fan and your discussion made for viewing. Recently I watched Crazy shaolin disciples, Tales of a eunuch and The Young vagabond - not sure (Shaw) if you seen those films, the last one I really rate even though it was one of the last films the studio turned out. If you haven't seen 82 tenants don't bother. Also where was Challenge of the masters? Loving your work.
"Cheetah On Fire" has a good fight scene with Donni Yen vs Gordon, but it's too short. Overall movie is a Shaw Nough. "Last Her in China" is also a Shaw Nough, but the Gordon vs Jet Li fight is interesting.
I can't remember the name of the film but I saw it many years ago. It's about a young man who fights his bully to win the love of his female school teacher. He gets his ass handed to him by the bully at the local kickboxing gym where Gordon Liu is the coach. Then goes and trains wing chun with a priest and fisherman to come back and destroy his bully's kickboxing with his new found wing chun skills. Anyone know the name of the film?
I think RTSC but i feel that its a Mater Killer Tier because of using scaffolding mixed eith Kung Fu. That's was a great mixture of fighting no one would've thought of. Its original. Youre right on the tier for Disciples. Hsaio Ho character is too much of a adolescent role as an annoying kid that thinks he knows everything. And it had too much comedy. Thats what turned me off about the movie. But the end scene was great! 8 fiagram pole fighter is really good, but i guess when Phillip Ko kept refusing him to be a monk it was irritating but satisfying at the end. I have a twitch channel and talk about Kung Fu movies. I would like to collaborate with you guys one day!
Your best tier list yet and there all great lol, really interested in Tiger on Beat to get some sweet release sooner or later, Awesome video man.

Did Iblink or is Heros of the East missing? Basically an earlier Legendary Weappns.
I guess you forgot he was in Kill Bill 1 too.
Hardly
@@MartialArtsFilmFreak True, but he did get to fight in that one.
Okay video idea: what are your favorite tropes in martial arts film and are there tropes that our Western films should use more of?
I found shoalin & wu tang on accident looking for a different gordon movie. Great film
hsiao ho (if I'm correct with the spelling) looks like jet LI in disciples of 36th chamber.
where´s Kill Bill 1?
If Clan of the White Lotus isn't the toppest of the top i'm gonna riot.
Instructors of death's (martial club)last fight scene is the best
Shaolin Drunken Monk and He Has Nothing But Kung Fu two more movies
Where's Challenge of the Masters?
