Brilliant, this is by far my favourite bike channel on YT. Apart from the fact you’ve now made me want to buy one of these now. I was convinced my CBR600 and ZZR1400 were all I needed, now I’ve had to rethink that. I’ll be testing one of these as soon as they are available. Hopefully I’ll hate it…. 😂
Jeez, he's doing about 30 seconds a lap faster than I'd do and he's chatting about having his feet up playing a bike game. So, that's where I've gone wrong. Next time I'm out I'll try and remember about digging my allotment or waxing my Ferrari Dino and I don't have either
I know a rival online mag journalist quite well who's ridden with Chris on many of these launches and he said to me 'I really want to dislike this guy, but he's annoyingly fast, annoyingly humorous, annoyingly good natured, he's just like he is in his vids. It's impossible to dislike him, Goddam'.
Watched several reviews already with this bike at that track and Chris here I believe was pushing that bmw just that much more, perhaps it was the giggles giving him the edge.
The camera looks like its mounted on the chin of the helmet. Gonna assume is a gopro, just because it is the weapon of choice for the majority of the motorcycle channels on TH-cam. The camera thought doesn't tilt or yaw in relation to the helmet rather than staying parallel to the surface like a gyroscopic one. Does GoPro have a gyroscopic function?
Pushin' on there, Chris. On the gas early off some of those turns. Bags of confidence in the front end? BMW might need to up their manufacturing runs. Fly out of showrooms. 🙃😉
The more the motorcycle computer makes hardware align with the forces of nature, the less interesting motorcycles become. Just like the car world, they build the Mazda Miata with some "apparent" less than optimal suspension and chassis features that make the drive entertaining, engaging, dare I say a little hairy. The more motorcycle manufacturers program everything out of the system that could upset the bike, the less interesting the bike is.
They sort of do… Ducati… owned by Lamborghini who are owned by Volkswagen who own Porsche, Audi, Skoda etc. There’s a lot of tech and know-how shared in the group
@@CrouchyOnBikes Actually it's Porsche Automobil Holding SE (PORSCHE SE) that is the major owner (31% equity and 53% of votes) of the entire Volkswagen Group aka VW Group AG (with the entirety of the brands in it). And the Porsche family is still the major owner of PORSCHE SE holding and by so the major owner of Volkwagen Group with the entirety of other brands in it.
Another brilliant video, but now let's see you do that on an NSR500. Bikes these days are excessively "fly by wire" and remove so much of the rider input in the name of safety I don't want to own a new superbike.
@@BikeWorldTVshow My comment was not to disparage Chris, the guy is clearly a naturally talented rider, and has a winning personality, just a comment on the neutrality of modern super bikes. Love this channel and keep up the great work chaps.
@@joelg34 Hey, we know and thanks, we just thought you'd like to see that they can all be turned off. Chris would agree with you, he's uses the electronics to push harder and have more fun. Apart from launch control, that's crap!
@@BikeWorldTVshow I love it when Chris destroys Matt Watson in a £500k hypercar, with all of the rider aids turned off, very satisfactory. I drive an M4 CS with all the go fast toys and massive brakes, but nothing comes close to the sheer buzz of a superbike. Damn, I wish I hadn't woken up one day and realized I was 50, with two sons and a pile of responsibilities, which is all that came between me and a Ducati V4r. Probably for the best to be honest, Have a wonderful Christmas, and best wishes from Northumberland.
Chris doing what he does best, having fun and going bloody fast on a motorcycle - nice !
That’s just superb commitment on press machines , brilliant
The fastest bike is a rental, incredible. Thanks Chris, you’re an inspiration!
Absolute ANIMAL ! 🔥🔥🔥

This is what riding is all about
These onboards are so rad! They remind me of my racing days, though I reckon Chris would kick my ass 😅

This guy can ride… properly ride! I love watching him!

Inspirational. Dream bike.
Nice halo around the sun as well 😃

Agreed, Ride 4 does a pretty nice job of translating feel through the controller. So much fun to just click off laps in that game.
Excellent lap would love to see this with GoPro Speedometer
Geez you make it look easy Chris 👍
That was superb.
Very cool!! I can't get the pro suspension right... Would it be too much to go over your adjustment? thanks..✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽
WOOOOOOOOOOOW THIS IS MAGIC AMAZING FANTASTIC MAGICAL ! ! ! ! ! ! TOP ! ! ! ! ! !
Wow that was fast!!
More videos like this please ❤
My fav TH-cam biker at it again! Sweet

Yep, it's a GoPro, they have Horizon Lock now.
Thank you

Wow! Fast!!

Like he’s in his pipe and slippers while nailing around a track not even heavy breathing 😂

I wouldn’t call this bike, ridden in this way, “less interesting”. The complete opposite.
Chris.... Play RiMS Racing... Way better than Ride 4 😂😂
284 km = 176 mph
not bad 🙂
On a stock road bike, with stock gearing…. That’s awesome.
Makes you wonder what if porsche made a super bike 😆

Chris did a session with everything turned off, he mentions it here: th-cam.com/video/uVPvdQ5w2iU/w-d-xo.html
