Continue to make it hard for yourself. has to be a million of those riders sitting around, much easier and straight forward repair to replace with a used part. 7 yrs ago I purchased a 175 JD mower from Middletown for $150.00 put a little money into it and has been a decent mower. This is the time of the year people replace there old mowers with new keep your eyes open lol lol
