@@carts1378 I don't know, the series never really says. I would think everyone would learn of the events and therefore the victims.
The show also never shows her views on Ruyi changing. I don't know if the books, that the series is based on, ever said anything about it or not.

Eventhough wei yanwan is the villain, but she is the most grow character, her facial feature from a maid to become a wicked concubine is totally different. Great job for her
Agreed! When she was crazed and questioning that maid of hers, Yanwan looked like a completely different person compared to how mild she looked when she first appeared in this drama. The difference in her demeanor was like night and day!
She is not helping Ruyi, she just doesn't like any concubines who climbing as queen beside her father, she want her mother grave one together with her father.
Except wei yinglou is buried in his other side anyway

The Bailin clan where Consort Ying comes from is considered equal to the Aisin Gioro imperial clan, for that reason Consort Ying should not bow so much. Furthermore, the princess is from the Khorchin clan by marriage, which makes her an equal.

During the Qing Dynasty, Women within the Haram were actually not allowed to raise their own children, it was to prevent an overbearingness, because unlike previous Dynasties, mostly the ones ruled by the Han people, All of the Emperors son's have a right to the throne, if selected, but won't be revealed until his death or retirement.
The series doesn't make it clear weather she knew about Yawan arranging for the prostitutes. Knowing such an action would not be good for the emperor's reputation, I would like to think she loved him to much to consent to such actions.
I will never understand why Jingse kept associating the Yawan after this. Surely she knows that Yawan will stop at nothing to become empress.
It's obvious that you haven't seen the series. Princess Jingse is fond of Mother Ling because she saved her only son from drowning (it was a trick by Mother Jing to save herself because it was after giving birth to the Seventh Princess and after her mother's conspiracy). Noble Consort Ling arranged the prostitutes to corrupt the Emperor and Ruyi and Jingse knew about it. In fact, Jingse wanted to give up Mother Ling, but a eunuch of the latter convinced Jingse that it would be convenient to keep her to make Ruyi fall from her position as Empress.
@@luiscarlosmotasantos729 Actually I have seen the series but it had been awhile when I made this comment. Yes Yawan did arrange and save Jingse's son from drowning. Once Jingse realized Yawan was not teaching her son properly and planting the seeds of rebellion, I thought Jingse would start to cut her off because I know I would have. I was surprised she responded to Yawan's plea for help at the river after she realized Yawan didn't really care about the emperor and knew about the prostitutes. I must have missed/don't remember any eunuch telling her not to turn Yawan in.
I have not read the book so I don't know if it tells weather or not Jingse felt any remorse for her attitude toward Ruyi after Ruyi was placed under house arrest and demoted.

Hejing is her title… Jingse is her informal name
Both are her names. Her given name at birth is Jingse, and her formal title is Hejing.
People can't just casually use other's birth name, they must use formal titles when referring to them. If someone calls the princess by her birth name, it means they're very close to her like her parents.

Yes most of the princes didn't survive to adulthood so that's why Yongyang was chosen to be the next emperor. He was one of the few son's who survived to adulthood.
