I thought the reason you aren’t supposed to wear a baby facing frontward was because of strangulation but this is from a wrap carrier website titled, “9 reasons not to wear your baby facing out” and now I will not try to wear my baby facing out: Your baby’s upper legs should be pulled up to at least hip level, if not higher. This is possible only if the fabric in a baby carrier covers the whole back of the thigh to the backside of the knee, if the carrier has an adjustable seat, or if the carrier has footstraps. Check out this medical research by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute and the infant biomechanics of different types of baby carriers. As a trained german preschool teacher and nursery nurse i have to say, front facing is the worst way to carry your baby. Having him looking around like this could(!) also be a sign of overexitement. In this position: - Boys get pain "down under". This position is causing pain, the baby can't classify, - nor communicate, cause it has to handle all the stimuli that it perceives. An it can't just turn it's had away to take a breake. It HAS to see everything. Also from trying to make it sleep, you should know it just can't close it's eyes, if it is overwhelmed. - Baby is in a 'good' position to get problems with hips and back. Babys back should be round, not straight. They have to "curl up", while beeing carried. In ff position it can't. You shouldn't carry a baby like that. Never ever. Sorry but even if you didn't know better, most manufacturers also write that a baby should never be carried like this, even if it is inquisitive. Then you can still wear it on your hip or on your back.

É a posição favorita dele
Obrigada!
thanks! My baby's already asleep 2 minutes after getting her into it facing me
Thanks,❤
My almost 3 month old daughter loves her wrap. She falls asleep immedietly once I put her in facing me.
Se ve muy incomodo para el bebé
Can you do this with any moby wrap or does it have to be a specific one??
U make it look so easyy ...loving the tutorial
You should NEVER place your baby facing forward inside any carrier or wrap. It can do damage to their spine, hips, groin area and more. Plus, it can be extremely uncomfortable for your baby being carried like that. Think of it this way. Have you ever been in a harness? If so, it can be very uncomfortable. You are basically stuck in that position and your legs are soar because they can't move. Now think of your baby. If you would be uncomfortable in a harness don't you think your baby would be uncomfortable? Plus, your baby's face should ALWAYS be facing you.
I agree not best to FF in a stretchy wrap, but fine when monitored correctly in a carrier that is designed for it. Why have they always got to face me? I’m planning to back carry, he won’t facing me then,
I love that my baby prefers to be facing forward instead of backwards. She goes to all her doctors appointments and they never say anything and recommends different.
Thank you for share this video, helps a lot!
Thank you soooooo much dear
Helped me a lot... thanks mummy
How old does that baby need to be before doing this?
Thanks! This helped a lot!
👎👎👎👎 última posición. Sabes que pierde lo reconomico
Jamás se debe portear hacia enfrente
Thank you this is so helpful♡
Affligeant...
Omg thank you!! saved my life, little one likes to be nosey too!!
You should really read the comments. This is not the proper positioning
Roxanne Santos so what is?
@@antwoniqueknowles7899 all of the baby wraps state clearly that they are not for facing outward because the baby's weight is not supported by the thighs which could lead to hip dysplasia. Also on the youtube channels for mobywrap, boba, and egobaby they show all the proper positions that you can use. The reason none of them show this outward facing position is because they would be sued immediately for all the health issues they cause. check this link that includes all the details about safe carry. babywearing.co.za/babywearing-donts/
Roxanne Santos great thanks for the info!
As a trained german preschool teacher and nursery nurse i have to say, front facing is the worst way to carry your baby. Having him looking around like this could(!) also be a sign of overexitement. In this position:
- Boys get pain "down under". This position is causing pain, the baby can't classify,
- nor communicate, cause it has to handle all the stimuli that it perceives.
Thanku mam
You looking so beautiful Really
Omg why doesn't everyone do this? It just seems so convenient.
there must be a reason isnt it? 🙃🙃
Are there any downfalls to carrying your baby all the time? Any problems putting him to sleep or keeping him asleep for example
Only when you do it right!!!!!
Legs in the M position facing to you not away from you...
Loved this thank you!!
Thank you for this!!
