I started watching TH-cam channels about farming and livestock years ago and it has given me an appreciation of the work that goes into the food I eat. "Ya mean that food dosen't just come from aisle two at the supermarket" 🤔😀🚜🌽
Thanks, for carrying the message. I'm not sure the average consumer understands much. I used to produce cereal grains and beef cows, I just run cows now. We're an ever shrinking percentage of the population. We certainly need to educate the general public.

I'm not a farmer but live in the largest dairy County in Ohio. We have more cows than people in Wayne Co. I've been on some dairy farms for public tours and pretty much see milk trucks everyday on the road. Love your videos!
Y'all do such a good job together on videos. Loooooove me some milk!! I start freakin' out if we run outta milk!! Gotta have some every evening before bed. Everyone should watch some farming videos to see how hard farmers work.......especially dairy farmers!! Those cows gotta be milked EVERY day......whether the farmers is tired......sick.....or whatever. Love your videos!!
My family had a dairy farm that I worked on in the 80’s and 90’s. We built a new miking parlor in the late 80’s with the newest technology at the time. This absolutely blows away what we had. I watch a lot of farming on TH-cam, this is by far the most advanced milking operation I have seen. Thank you so much for take the time to tour and share this farm!

That was fantastic, I worked on a dairy farm about 60 years ago and things sure have changed.

I started on a dairy farm back when we were milking 35 cows in staunctions with milker pails under the cows. Gradually we added a pipe line, more cows and more "stuff" as technology came along. I would am so glad I spent those early years in the 50's leaning on the cows, hugging them to get warm in the winter, and getting to know them as most were so used to people. Dairy cows are the best.

Nice. Technology has come a long way since I labored in the fields as teen/young adult. I like it. If it makes for a better experience for the farmers, I’m all for it.
This was very cool to this here city kid. I found that robot to be amazing I am surprised that those tanks were that small. I'm going to guess that there is probably a bigger tank(s) somewhere else that those tanks in that one room get pumped into as those tanks fill up. Worked on several dairy farms many years ago, pretty high tech now. All I remember about it was the work was NEVER DONE!!🫣😉🐄🐮

Awesome video, G&G (hmmm G&G Farms in the future? LOL) It's amazing how far dairy farms have came over the years. I remember in the mid 70s, milking 20 head of cows by a milk pump, but it was still a lot of manual labor involved. Then in the early 80s and college at University of Missouri-Columbia, I helped out at the University's Dairy Farm and we were milking 100 head, with more modern equipment, but still had some manual labor involved. Now in the 21st century, it's a complete almost automation. LOL. Wonder what the next 5 years will evolved into.
It's a very good idea this video about a dairy farm with some high technology. A friend of mine have a farm like that and he's alone! It's wonderful to see this change of work.! A lot of comments talk about the difficulties of being a dairy farmer, what do you think? There where farmers in France and Europe who demonstrated for a better price for milk since a few months and it's so sad . Good luck to you with yours farm

Well I use had dairy with parents since 1972 to ,,1995 I did did I joy it we also do silge hay hay did raise grain to I joy watch tour at dairy farm

Hi! The use of technology has helped this operation tremendously. They told me it’s hard to find good help around them. The robot gives them time to focus on other aspects of the farm and keep up with the demanding milking schedule.

Lol here is something for you both! How younsaid about the cows waste! Well out here our waste water treatment plant sells the dry waste to farmers over on the Eastside of the state for fertilizer for crops ! So were using poo to make food! Lol😂😂😂
Haha yes a lot of people use manure for fertilizer for crops, not just crops feeding cattle
