Right on Nate, thanks for the reply! Nothing beats wandering for diamonds! We try to get out every weekend. Thinking about hitting your trail next to Putah Creek again this weekend! Thanks for all you do Nate!
@@QuestForDetails we ended up in Healdsburg for a trip to the river finding big jaspers etc instead. Getting ready to buy a 10" hi tech diamond saw soon! Too hot to be out there today. 🤣
Wow! I love to watch you wander and babble! Its so entertaining and you are just a joy to watch and listen too. Your voice is so soothing and and mesmerizing. I love those lake co diamonds! Thats wonderful! You found another spot! And you escaped a mountain lion, and wrestled ants for them, then the rays of the sun, and came out victorious! Yay! Im so excited for you! Thank you for taking us along on this quest!
Your channel has brought me so much peace and I am so greatful! It is my escape when the mind is overthinking. And when the soul is tired! Thank you for bringing me back every time. I will return to Northern Cal. one day and NEVER leave. it was the only place that i truely felt at peace for the first time in my 47 years. A most greatful fan! THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!
I'm from SoCal. Every year 12 families, all close friends, took the trip to Clear Lake and stayed at Rocky Point Resort. We went to the races and every year, a diamond hunt somewhere near Konocti. I wasn't a rockhound then. We found smaller ones but nothing remotely like that. I never knew if those diamonds were of any quality for cutting. The ones you found are worth money...no?
Just got back from hunting diamonds and did pretty good! Its by far one of our top types of rockhounding adventures. Great video, really enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing!
Nate those are beautiful....real or not....I would love to wear any kind of jewelry with them 😍 I love the Adventure and history you give us....Keep up the great work 👍
Me, myself and I Would be rubbing it in! 🙂 Those are a lot bigger than the ones we usually see. If that place doesn't already have a name you could call it Nathan Wild Cat Creek. Love the "drama"...😅😅😅😅 I wish we had something like this here in WY. I could use them to make my wands with.
On a side note can you explain if you've heard about the folklore behind gifting four diamonds at a time to represent north, south, east and west or something to that effect?
I just had that feeling you get, must have wandered into a spot where something was , even if it wasn't after me, I couldn't calm my nerves all the way, you never know what your senses have picked up on that isn't apparent to the visible eye, and the hour and spot, I t was a change in vibe , not usually afraid of alone out there but it just got feeling dangerous all the sudden, but the bush was that crazy chaparral/ buckbrush, so I was already feeling like a kid in a labyrinth , stuff can be crazy thick ! clapping's a good idea, I just got into a hurried scurry uphill , lol : )
@@QuestForDetails oh yeah I know that feeling. Not a fun feeling. I’ve never found a bunch of crystals after that feeling. Maybe the universe was just pushing you to a nice reward for the good that you are putting into the universe.
Very nice Crystal....!!! I love your Quest for details....!! Is it possible to buy some of them....!! Medium to large, to try to cut them, must be the clear one's...!?? Do you have a shop at Etsy....?? Do you have WhatsApp.... ?? Iam Danish, but living in Ghana, married Ghanian, with daughter Inga-Kate, 3 years old.....!!
type them into google, check out the prices of the ones for sale. these are rare, I don't blame you for not knowing of them , and the name causes misunderstandings all on its own. Quest On !
Those are precious quartz diamonds. He can wrap them and make jewelry out of them. Or he can sell them for quite a bit on their own. But it's not always about the money. And it's definitely not glass.

My niece and I put 10 on Ernest Hemmingways grave.😆😅😂🤣
Gatorade helps!
Nice finds!!! I heard that clapping is a good deterrent for mountain lions. Just a couple loud claps every so often. Not sure if it’s true or not.
