It's funny when people says "I don't know why you would modified a Getz". They don't realized that it's just because we want. It's something different, not a common thing to do. When I'm on track, it's very rewarding when someone approaches you to tell you "Dude, it's stock? It's really fast!" and I say yes it has only lowered springs and semislicks and they freak out.

it is amazing when people give you credit for the work you did and its nice to hear but some will keep being rude towards it happens all the time when i am at car meets
The Getz is really the best driver car I’ve owned. Light and you can steer them so easy on the throttle and with left foot trail brake. In the wet they will oversteer and when you chicken out the throttle will balance control . Off road driving .
They are little weapons

Hahaha this is gold man. I've got a 2009 1.4L Getz as a daily, and I'm really thinking of turboing it, after seeing a few of them done now.

@@mustafahr266 haha its not too bad with an airfilter just not very fast sounds fast though haha what do you recommend mark 1 1.6 or Mark 2 1.4

and should able to handle a lot of boost

It’s my dream to be in a sh*tbox and beat anyone off the line who shows off to me hahaha but I am not going to lie but there are some nice cars that I have come across

What did you do for the ecu? Did you replace it or using some sort of piggyback system? And did you do anything for more fuel? Cheers
what kinda power output are you getting from this? ive got a 1.4l that im wanting to swap out for a 1.6 before putting a turbo in it. wanting to go full sleeper to annoy the honda civics who try to show off at the red lights
What's your thoughts on the best model to buy? I can only find the 1.1 gsi
not sure why you would turbo a getz but I like how you have done it on the cheap. When its all done post it stats eg, power and fuel usage.

What did it cost you to turbo it in total..also did you have to fit a spacer between the head and the block? If u did where did u get it from.. I want to build a car to run Car Khanas and maybe doing a hillclimb out at Mt Cotton .

Hi man! I'm from Philippines and I'm planning to do your build on my Getz Gold version. Stock engine is 1.1L SOHC 12 Valves. Can you help me with everything that you've put like the engine? Is your engine G4ED 1.6L DOHC 16Valves? Loved your work. I hope you can help me with mine.
mine i think is the G4EC its the 1.5 litre and i will post more videos soon so you can get some ideas from mine

Did you replace the injectors with larger ones? Better fuel pump? Also did you put an aftermarket ECU in to replace the stock one?
injectors are 800cc and i run 400lph pumps, and i still use factory ecu , but i do have a piggy back system

I've got an 06 1.6l turbo, but no ecu yet.
hello sir.. what is the fuel management? was the ecu remapped?? and did you changed the fuel injector?
bigger pump, stock injectors just being pushed a bit harder , 1:1 FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR , stock ecu
it seems to handle boost fine up to 7 psi

@@mustafahr266 bro I just got mine off the dyno, it's a 1.4L using a Hilux turbo Ct12B - 98.8kw at the wheels.

what ecu u running, is it tuned
Stock ecu, bigger injectors and a return line to the tank. Fuel pressure reg. 7psi works fine.. no ecu needed. Biggest intercooler you can fit helps.. Factory Evo 8 work well.
