    Real guys; 5 year exclusive relationship and he was married to someone else in 3 months! This song just came out. She says everything someone thinks in your head but could never say!!! Played and screamed to this on repeat in my car! Extremely cathartic! Don’t tell a women you’ll be with them forever if u don’t mean it! FYI Alannis won A Grammy for best new artist, Album of the Year (Jagged Little Pill), and song of the year! She ruled the world back then. Insane vocals, tone, writing and performer! Uninvited live at Grammys 1999 incredible. This album was made into Broadway play called Jagged little Pill based on this albulm!

      It's Insane how quickly some move on. Reminds me of Selena and Justin. 9 years off and on, and he goes and gets engaged within 2 months. I think it's most commonly done with people who don't know how to manage and process their emotions so they run off to try and find the next best thing that will bring in good feelings instead of working through the negative and depressive ones. That, or they move on so quickly because, in actuality, they mentally checked out of the relationship long before it actually ended, so they have no emotional ties to the previous relationship.

    LMAO "Don't stoop to my level, damn woman, I thought we was working things out." Has to be the best reaction to the line, "Every time I scratch my nails on someone else's back I hope you feel it!" I have heard since the song was released, thank you! This song has always brought up the line, "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." ;)

    This song is cathartic because you aren't suppose to show the pain in a breakup. I pretended everything was okay while I felt crazy inside. She
    lets it all out. Men can feel this way too!

      @@Roblockdn, you should do a reaction to the entire album. You can break it up into individual videos, which builds suspense. I recommend doing it all at once, because of how the songs seem to naturally bleed into the next.

    She was very young when dating this dude for a couple of years. He was a grown man. She went thru therapy and wrote this at 19. So she was around 16 give or take dateing a grown man. Being that young it hurts bad.

    As far as the lyrics, most men will just never really get it. In one short song she managed to bring every emotion a dumped women has ever felt. To be clear, this isn't a song about a casual relationship...this is about a long relationship lacking honesty. Blowing smoke while waiting for something better to come along. Don't put these lyrics in the "crazy girlfriend" box.

    • @ItsNikolai
      @ItsNikolai 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The cross eyed bear lyric repeating let me know that there is a very sentimental feeling for that gift, something you wouldn’t able to truly understand without being in that relationship. This kind of heartbreak can knock anyone down and this song is the epitome of that pain. It’s why I’m listening to it right now on repeat as I have to process my own emotional upheaval.

    Such a great song! BTW this is based on a true story so I don't know what happens statistically but it did happen to her, and clearly she wasn't too happy about it ;) But whatever, people (men and women) get their hearts broken and they get over it. She got it out of her system--to our great benefit, and moved on.
    The rumor is probably true. Dave Coulier ended up marrying the woman he left Alanis for don't know if they're still together.

    Taylor Swift ain't got nothin on break-up songs! This does. An existential plea of the modern woman for heterosexual self-less bullshit relationships. Women gotta know that a high value man will take advantage of the opportunities around him! So Ladies set your expectations properly meaning you should marry a 5'7" middle income mediocre man and you'll be set for life! Otherwise this song is your anthem for life!

    Mr LA stop referring to women as females. Calling a woman a female is derogatory. It's a way to equate women to animals. It's misogynistic and patronizing. To the guy on the right, I appreciate how respectfu you are when you refer to women as women.I might be going out on a limb here, but I'm going to guess that you're more popular and have had more "experience" with women
