Great to hear a Scottish accent speaking about Battletech. I’m here in Ireland and although the community is growing it always seems that Battletech is predominantly a game played in North America. In my opinion, it blows most other war games out of the water and provides a perfect balance between amount of models and granular immersion. Subscribed!
I’m in Belfast and just picked up Battletech this week, mostly for solo play.
I just saw this in Game Trade magazine and it looks cool, so I sought out gameplay vids. Thanks for the video! Great paint jobs as well! I really like the black with red accents and the green windows.
Thank you very much. That’s me trying to match up to the official Wolf’s Dragoons paint scheme so if you’re interested in that kind of colour palette maybe look into collecting them!
Great report. FYI "C" mechs are inner sphere mechs that have been upgraded and retrofitted with clan technology (after the clan invasion). Contrast this with the "IIC" mechs which are Clan mechs that are more evolved versions of the classic inner sphere mechs that clans developed while away.
I love how flexible BT is. Pretty cool.
Still enjoyable to see AS played on the map sheets.
Hex AS is my favorite way to play BT.

Personally I prefer the hexmaps with Alpha Strike. Hope to see more.
Are you able to roll multiple dice 1 set for each weapon or is it 1 roll for all the dmg? I hope that makes sense? Still learning
The default is two D6 for all damage but variable damage where you use more is an official optional rule.
WHat map is that you are playing on, looks really cool with the buildings and wall.
I don’t remember the name off hand but there isn’t that many hex based Alpha Strike maps that they sell so it shouldn’t be hard to find.
